    I don't care about Natch Potes until they have a line that reads a little something like this...

    "We've discovered the problem with the zone loading times and have implemented a fix that should considerably reduce load times when zoning!"

    Edit: a bonus line could read like this too:

    "We've also fixed the 27 'soft loading screens' you experience when walking from one end of Orsinium to the other"

    Adjusted several abilities to improve overall game performance. Affected abilities will now tick less frequently, but deal more damage such that overall damage should remain constant. The affected abilities include:

    Blazing Spear
    Consuming Darkness and its morphs
    Eruption
    Lightning Splash and its morphs
    Necrotic Orb and its morphs
    Path of Darkness and its morphs
    Radiant Destruction and its morphs
    Valkyn Skoria's coffin was already sealed pretty tight, but hey another nail couldn't hurt.

    Path of Darkness and Veil of Blades.

    TWO abilities vital to Sap Tanks because of their fast-ticking DoT properties which meant tons of chances to proc Siphoning Attacks and get resources back, have now been nerfed.
    Adjusted several abilities to improve overall game performance. Affected abilities will now tick less frequently, but deal more damage such that overall damage should remain constant. The affected abilities include:

    Eruption
    Lightning Splash and its morphs
    Necrotic Orb and its morphs
    Path of Darkness and its morphs
    Radiant Destruction and its morphs

    Actually, Skoria may or may not have gotten a ninja buff in last week's patch. Either the proc-rate went up or they removed the idiotic internal cooldown on it, because I've been proc-ing meteors like crazy these last few days.

    I mean people are on here directly after only reading it, screaming nerf, when they have no proof otherwise. go play, if the abilities damage output is lower, then come back and scream nerf.

    Can't see there is anything to be expected. I bet it is no more than 3 pages and no real bugs such as resources, loading screen, or blocking cost will be addressed.

    It seems my guess was spot on. Three pages of patch notes addressing no major bugs. Typical ZOS.

    The way how this is written gets me think they even couldn´t identify the problem what causes the rollbacks in dungeons... It ain´t crashes, the dungeons just ports you out but you stay ingame...

    Of course you're just looking at the skills themselves and not anything else that is affected.

    1)Less DoT from Shards means less chances to proc Burning Light. Status: Nerfed
    2)Less DoT from Lightning Splash means less chances to proc Disintegration. Status: Nerfed
    3)Less DoT from Path and VoB means less chances to proc SA (AND YES PATH DOES PROC SA BEFORE ANYONE STARTS). Status: Nerfed
    4)Less DoT from all of these abilities means even less chances to proc Skoria meteors. Status: Double Nerfed

    If the only solution they had to fixing the performance issues in PvP was to nerf these abilities then clearly the issue is beyond their level of skill for fixing it.

    I agree with you 100% @Scyantific Unfortunately it seems that ZoS also have had this very limited viewpoint as well & have neglected to think on the knock on effects of these 'changes'.

    I guess it seems that all classes got a bit of a nerf in that there are skills across the board....

    But I have to admit I do feel a bit sorry for DoT builds... Skoria got nerfed so often lately its really not very good anymore at all, and there aren't exactly a lot of alternatives for them.

    That reminds me of a TV show from a long time ago(can't remember which one) but they were doing things that drove people nuts and one guy balled up a big piece of Aluminum foil, put it in his mouth and chomped away. I was young when I saw it and that sh!@t gave me nightmares man. Thanks for reminding me! hahaha
