We have identified and fixed the cause for the long loading times.
It doesn't do anything if you don't have any fillings, though. That being said, I have plenty of fillings and I used to do it just for grins... Felt funny... No different than sticking your tongue on a 9v battery, really. Actually a 9v was worse if it was fully charged...WitchyWarrior wrote: »WitchyWarrior wrote: »What is with the whole "Natch Potes" thing? Every time I see it it makes my skin crawl. Have you ever chewed on tin foil?
Oh dear god WHY?! Why would you remind me?! Eating something that had a small piece still stuck to it *Shutter*
That reminds me of a TV show from a long time ago(can't remember which one) but they were doing things that drove people nuts and one guy balled up a big piece of Aluminum foil, put it in his mouth and chomped away. I was young when I saw it and that sh!@t gave me nightmares man. Thanks for reminding me! hahaha

GG ZoS thanks for nerfing those few skills you mentioned in 2.2.5
I am sure by making these abilities tick less, it will overall make them work better. they stated that they will do more damage per tick, so it's still balanced as before.
I guess some people will always feel the need to twist their words around.
Because if the intention was for the outcome to be the same, they would have left these skills alone. "as balanced as before" sounds as much a hand wave of the truth as "damage should remain constant".
The intention, as stated, was to improve overall game performance.
If you don't understand that, perhaps the constant use and ticking of these abilities (likely more in PVP) was possibly creating more lag than intended. they then implemented an easy fix, that didn't nerf the abilities.
I mean people are on here directly after only reading it, screaming nerf, when they have no proof otherwise. go play, if the abilities damage output is lower, then come back and scream nerf.
Of course you're just looking at the skills themselves and not anything else that is affected.
1)Less DoT from Shards means less chances to proc Burning Light. Status: Nerfed
2)Less DoT from Lightning Splash means less chances to proc Disintegration. Status: Nerfed
3)Less DoT from Path and VoB means less chances to proc SA (AND YES PATH DOES PROC SA BEFORE ANYONE STARTS). Status: Nerfed
4)Less DoT from all of these abilities means even less chances to proc Skoria meteors. Status: Double Nerfed
If the only solution they had to fixing the performance issues in PvP was to nerf these abilities then clearly the issue is beyond their level of skill for fixing it.
@G0ku I believe that's effectively the same thing. Rollbacks occur when server shard instances crash. In the event of a dungeon crash, you get ported out to the main zone, as that's a stable parent location. In the event of a parent zone crash, you get disconnected, as there's no stable location to eject you to."Fixed a number of frequently-occurring game crashes."
The way how this is written gets me think they even couldn´t identify the problem what causes the rollbacks in dungeons... It ain´t crashes, the dungeons just ports you out but you stay ingame...
@Cogo I'm afraid I couldn't create the specified gif, so I hope this will suffice for now:
This gif is fantastic. Already legendary among MMOs!
Only a gif of @ZOS_GinaBruno working on the 72 pages in 1.5, and smack the Macbook in the head when word crash, could beat it!

Not directly, as we don't want to degrade the meaning of "Insightful", but it is quite often used in a sarcastic measure.WitchyWarrior wrote: »Is insightful the new lol? I hope so

Someone had started a post about when the patch notes were coming out...but made a typo. It caught on quickly and became the norm.
That typo has actually made its way to the studio, and a lot of us call them natch potes now too.
