Pro Tip If sting makes a post ignore it . You will feel smarter and not lose time that could be spent on better threads. Now that being said. If people leave early who cares it is a game. People do what people do. Leaving early happens in all MMO's that I have played. No big deal its a game.

If you are in a pledge group, show some social skills... It's really a richard move to leave the party before everyone is out of the dungeon. For one thing, if you leave the group, no one can port to you (in my case...) in Elden Hollow to turn in the quest. No big deal, but it's like me holding the door for my girlfriend... I don't HAVE to do it... But it's a pretty richard move if I don't...
Also, pledges aren't speed runs... (Those are called "Trials...") Looting is still a thing, but if the group disbands... you get kicked out of the dungeon... Perhaps "Rushins" don't understand the meaning of the word, "Pledge..." When you join, you "pledge" to accomplish a task as a group of adventurers... so act like you want to be a true Undaunted...

Lol @ the Richard moves. I saw him join a Twitch stream yesterday only to pull a Richard move when the streamer started asking him questions.

Save yourself the annoyance and play with a premade guild group or friends. Most modern gamers are spoiled kids that their parents put on video games because it's cheaper than daycare, and they just want to rush through everything and fap their power points like gobbling candy-coated failure, then come on the forums and troll about it.

I'm saving this for use in the future! Spot on.

I will be honest and say that I personal enjoy a quick pledge run, because I seriously have done over 1000 pledges. I do them 4 times a day, sometimes both silver and gold, but usually only golds.
But of course I never leave group without saying goodbye and have a nice day. And if I see someone want to explore the pots and crates round, I slow down my speed.

I like a quick pledge run, too... but that doesn't mean I'm a richard about it... You seem to be willing to adjust... I much prefer that to people trying to force me into playing their way, and then being a richard and whining that the party needs to "keep up" with them... it's just rude...

tbh, in this thread you don't come off as a "pro" in social skills...

between all that READ and "i never said", you should maybe take the time to understand that different players have different goals and that others may be just as annoyed by you as you are by them.

e.g., i never open chest when trying to farm stes in vWGT. We all know there's nothing valuable in it, we all have a goal, nobody needs to waste other's time. further, you still have quite soem time after others left the group "gettign removed from". If you're not able to complete a quest or loot in that time, something probably seriously wrong with your attention - another thing that is part of etiquette, imho: if you're playing with others give them your full attention and do your best.

I find it far worse if someone appearently is watching tv or alt-tabbing all the time compared to someone else who seems to be in the worst kind of hurry

This is why I avoid pugging like my life depends on it

I dont want to take my sweet little time when doing a dungeons ive done a hundred times over

I want to get in there, knock it out, and be done with my busywork for the day

And that just doesnt happen with pugs that are taking their sweet little time

The most valuable thing in any game is time.

Edit: But dont worry youll never see me because I legitmately never pug, everyone does the daily so I do it with friends

Guilty of this. In all fairness though, I'm pretty sick of all the waiting you have to do when doing dungeon runs; waiting on people finishing crafting...Waiting on people loading in...Waiting on people setting their bars...Waiting on people making sure their shoes are tied...

Gets pretty easy to rush in like an idiot

    Who is Richard?

Some of you guys take this game just a little to serious. I like to play and just have fun. I don't mind waiting for a few minutes in a dungeon if someone needs to do something, but then again I don't want to wait all day unless we are very close friends. My main goal is to kill the boss and move on.

    Pro Tip:
Enjoy the game; help each other out and be kind.

tbh, READ, usually is READ the original post....
"I never said ___" usually means I never said ___ in the original post...

This time, you need to READ the several times when I said, "Pledges≠Vet. dungeons..."
    so your example is invalid.
Anyway, I AGREE, be considerate in group pledges... All I said is that not being considerate is a Richard move....

Right? I did one run with a group for Darkshade and they all wanted to run and die to get to each "important" boss and then to the final. What on earth?

I immediately said no thanks when I realized what they were doing. I told them that I just couldn't justify running like that.

To be fair, running that dungeon a lot gets tedious.

I always run to the transmuted hive lord and go from there.

Its simple... just be nice to people in a PUG... all it takes is a 'Hi' in chat when the groups formed, and a 'Thanks for the group, have a good eve' when you're done as a minimum and everything's rosy...

The only thing I hate is when people don't even do this, or acknowledge others doing it. If people want to port straight out then no probs, but say a quick thanks & goodbye first :*

Agreed... not doing that is a Richard move as much as porting straight out....

If I am leader of the group, I tend to disband the group after completing both the normal and vet pledge so everyone can just afk for 30 seconds and get a free port to Grahtwood.

If i'm on a pug group, and i'm crown, i just disband when it's gone, and i always leave the group once the boss dies. Anything important can be said in /say, and people will get transported to where they were, usually the city where the undaunted camp is. So... yea, disbanding group = right thing.

I only stay in the group if i'm with friends and we gonna other stuff later. otherwise, My Little Pledge. GroupQuitting is Magic.

If you don't download all the web-pages as offline pages, and put them on a highly secure (preferably surrounded by armed drones) external hard drive, you're not as pro as you think you are.

So talking to the same npcs and reading same books over and over again makes you hardcore? That's a very interesting definition of "hardcore" i must say.
Anyways, I guess you can just find a group of likeminded people to do pledges "hardcore way" instead of complaining.
