I bet that the bug will be fixed if you remove the penalty to stamina regeneration while blocking. Just saying.

It's about quality control. They slapped together a fix for the stam regen while sneaking bug and in the process, created another one.

There are much much more. Anyone else notice how the game is becoming less and less responsive in lag free areas? They keep jacking with animations. CC is still really buggy, much worse than at the start at 1.6... Sometimes your character just stands there with no indication that you are actually CCd at all! They broke templar gap closer again. I could go on forever. It's obnoxious.

They've got a bunch of novices maintaining this game now and it's painfully obvious. That or they are forcing unrealistic schedules on their people, and they simply don't have time to do a GOOD JOB.

So other games push out a fix the second they've identified the cause of a bug, even though that means that they can't have possibly had time to code a fix yet, let alone test it to make sure it actually fixes the problem and doesn't break other stuff even worse than the original bug? lol yeah, OK then... I'm sure that's not complete BS or anything.

Yup then you are right its not a complete bs.

In gw2 since the release of expansion today is the first day we dont have any hotfixes. And its just an info in chat that the new client is available for download - no server downtime at all.

And you know what? The problem some machines had with new map required a quite huge change - deploying a 64 bit client. Well its second day im running gw2 in 64 b. as a beta client. And it required only to download 40 mb patch. Strange huh?

Is the internal mechanic also responsible for the massive cost of using abilities and blocking at times? During MA last night I was noticing that while yes stay regen could go through the roof, I was also randomly having some abilities cost 1000% more than normal depleting my entire stamina pool in one ability use or even by blocking....

    @ZOS_GinaBruno

There is also another glitch that is happening which I thought had been addressed in previous patch notes.

Casting an ability and then blocking followed by more ability casts and subsequent blocks can cause players to have no stamina regeneration even while they are not blocking. For some reason the stamina regeneration while blocking nerf gets permanently applied.

@ZOS_GinaBruno , I just wanted to report back in with the news that I experienced the bar lock bug again today. I think that the occurrence had to do with taping the sprint button. I thought this was totally fixed, but it isn't.

Can you also maker sure that all potions are on a global cool down. That would be a nice quality of life boost.

Yeah, you kind of do. And if you have you wouldn't be so bothered that it could take a bit longer and bigger.

"Give me a fix NOW" is not the good way to fix anything correctly.

Just have a little patience, I'm sure they're working on it.

if they can guarantee(as they did) the bug not to happen for consoles - the bug fixing patch has to be in the QA line at SONY and MS...
thus the fix is existing allready and not still in the investigation phase...

"As soon as possible" - lol. Sure. What about fixing eso plus? Its been an issue since launch charging people multiple times and not even giving them their crowns. It affect probably half the players I know with eso plus. Get it together because you're killing this game by continuing to release un finished or just flat out broken dlc and changes.

In case that is has not been fixed today, I confirm that yesterday at about 6:00 pm CET I have tried this thing out and it was still possible to do it - did the combination and instantly I had full stamina..... so yesterday it was not fixed yet

And over the years, many of those hotfixes created new bugs, so that's definitely not a good example.
