There fixed that for you..

this is cheating and cheaters should be permabanned....you do something like this in a Valve VAC game and see how quick they put the ban hammer down on you...they don't put up with this type of garbage, and ZOS shouldn't either...

well yes, but might happen that people do it accidentally (it is a pretty easy combination of moves). so I would not be so strict. but yes, if someone uses it often more times, he deserves a ban

What? I did it with and without weapon swapping and it always went to 0 then after a few seconds, 3 tops, it goes back to normal.

And yet you get stamina back dont you?

ZOS are pretty bad at giving out bans for this kind of abuse, generally only really big cases get bans, otherwise they just fix it and let all the drama settle down not caring about the abuse that happened previously. This is my opinion on the matter after a year in the game, I won't state it's fact though.

To my knowledge bans have been given for.
Guild bank duplication.
Soul gem farm exploit.
Bypassing PvP safe zones (temp only)
Heavy abuse of Emperor damage bug (permanent petitioned down to temp, petitioned down to no ban)

yes, pc after orsinium. but not sure if the bug was present even before orsinium launch or only after

No, I just stumble upon it. I heard there was an exploit with stamina, didn't know what it was, so I searched if it was the same thing when it happened to me.
It definitely is.
I /bug it, hope it will be fixed soon.
And hope the Maelstrom arena leaderboard will be reset. The people who used this bug to finish it do not deserve to be on it.

its not fixed. tryed it a few hours ago to see if it was real and sadly it is..
you get instant full stamina by doing it every single time.. so im not going to be doing any pvp soon since my stam nb is a stealther (wich is somthing thats required for the bug)

Rofl, from what I've heard it is extrememely easy to do, and requires a very common combination of actions, I bet tons of people have benefited from this bug without evn knowing there were using it.

When I saw how it's done my very first thought was "wow, it would be incredibly easy for me to do that accidentally". So yeah, I suspect you're right - there are probably a bunch of people who have used it accidentally without even realizing.

Yeah, the only reason I could see myself accidentally doing it is because for some reason I often accidentally hit the stealth key in the middle of battles...

There was another post about this and a few people admitting to using it because it is just so convinient........Sadly zos won't ban them even after they admitted to constantly using it for the arena

Would you rather having people using it without telling anyone for MONTHS?
I now understand how some pretty well known players did manage to block forever with 13k stamina. Like 2-3 days after Orsinium.

On PS4, I was trying to kill a lvl 20-ish Dragon Knight who'd permanently block, and when I say permanently, I mean just that. There wasn't a moment where he'd put his shield down and I was Jabbing him like crazy and trying to stun him. In the end (after over 7 minutes,) I gave up and went to run away but got ganked by his friends that he called to come and kill me.

This is disgusting.

I know several tanks who claimed they just regen stam by having a ton of magicka. Now I'm forced to wonder.

This is the same company that had an item duplication bug (splitting stacks in guild bank) in live for 1 month when it was reported in beta.

So you can get your conclusions from that.
