Im getting Fallout 4 but have no intention of leaving ESO. I might take a week or so off from playing the game. But thats because its not going anywhere. My ESO Plus sub will still be active and Ill be in Orsinium on launch for Console.

Im sure there are plenty like me that dont spend every free moment in ESO and dont treat it as if its going to die if I dont log in today or for a few days.

Didn't the PvPers say IC was in effect "their yard," and PvEers should wait until a PvE DLC came out? IC is small scale PvP. I've gone in with a few groups and had a blast... However, it isn't like large scale PvP against a bunch of anonymous enemies. It's more like the WWE, you have to communicate and work with your "enemy" to be effective and really have fun... That's part of the challenge in sports/gaming entertainment...

I've had more fun PvPing in IC than I ever did in upper Cyrodiil

Shhhh. You might stir the ire of forumites pushing that IC is PvE and that they want Cyrodiil changed.

This post makes me sick. It's not true and furthermore I can't wait until you feel as dumb as this post reads when you see how things unfold

oh im so sorry that I made you mad and this post offended you, try growing a back bone!
I guess you're not in reality? that's life when games are released before call of crap their population have awlays surged until the release of a CoD game yearly all console games populations have dropped.

all I hear in came chat is how people cant wait for fall out star wars and call of duty no mentioning of the new DLC for ESO.
almost my entire guild of 300 people will be done with ESO when fall out hits.

fixing the current state of ESO PvP will not fix the population.

no I cant wait to see how dumb you feel when the pop on ESO drops when CoD lands.

I've not heard any of that one time in zone or guild chat. I'm in 4 guilds of 450 plus and one small one. But I'm on pc/na so maybe its a difference in demographics from platform to platform.

yeah I don't see any one on PC saying anything about CoD or any console games
    NO LONGER PLAYING ESO

IC has been nothing but a boring grind of killing the same mobs over and over. The only ones who go in there are players trying to level or players trying to make coin. They have absolutely no desire to pvp, just pve. And then you have a few pvp'rs who know this but think it's fun to gank them. All is fair in a "pvp" zone, right?

Unfortunately, pve'rs leave when the pvp'rs come. And then the pvp'rs complain there is no one there. It just doesn't mesh.

Yep. I would like IC more if there were no very-hard-hitting mobs everywhere that make it quite difficult to stay alive from the PvE, let alone the PvP. Also I never cared for playing in tunnels/enclosed areas, much prefer open world where you can see grass growing, land formations, horizons, and sky.. :-)

IC actually surprised me. I'm no PvPer, but I tried it out with some guildmates as I have ESO+ and had a great time with it! Until that point I'd had no interest in it, but now, I'm always going in there! I ran a successful guild event there just today and finally got lucky with the pet scamp! What bits of PvP I have done are quite fun; no one got flustered or upset, we just went with it. We died, or they died, still fun for me - and I'm rubbish at it!

Although I have ESO+, I'm considering buying the dlc anyway, so I can keep it.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've thoroughly enjoyed IC so far.

I left ESO after experiemcing IC. The reasons:
    -Insane gear grind
    -Insane champion system

I want to PvP and I want to do group dungeons. I cannot do any of them just after having a huge amount of grind to get enough DPS for the daily dungeons and to be somewhat competitive in PvP.

It is NOT going to happen.

i dont agree with that most people leaving are simply because of what eso is turning into . eso is pushing them out not other games taking them away.

    Truth.

There's one big big reason. Mmo's last for years, if not decades, despite all the child like bitching that goes on.

I buy Witcher 3, I play it for a few hours, within the week I've completed it, yeah sure there's a few side quests, but it'd finished, storyline over, nothing to do other than muck about.

Hell even take huge games like assassins creed, I love the franchise, but even with syndicate, I'm purposely trying to play very little as I know once it's done it's done.

But flip on any mmo? How about doing some end game pve content? Or partaking in pvp? There's ALWAYS something to do, a new skill to learn, a new set to try etc.

I recently took up eve online, joined a Corp and most of the players have invested 7+ years into it, and even they admitted they learn new things on a daily basis.

No single/Co op single title gives me that.
