Maintenance Again 10/28 for NA PC?

hope they realize they are losing players by doing this maintenance thing and such bad service.... i am losing interest now after all this hassle free to play or not.... it does not matter if the game is free if i cannot play it. Also since this maintenance is so long 3 days in a row i have gone to the route of downloading another free to play game and playing that in the meantime and i am becoming much more interested and excited about this new online game tera..... well that's what happens... need my game addiction one way or another.

Seriously I'd be leaving if they never did maintenance. and Tera is not new it's been out a while it was sub a couple years ago and then went F2P

I get alot of laughs from all the REALLY MATURE post.... cough cough ***!!! we get during extended downtime.... Maybe some of you should go find a JOB!!!! I mean really one it is just a game and two they are about to release a major DLC so it should be expected. And if you don't like than go play some other game.... What a entertaining discussion... Or WHINING we have here.... GIGGLES

While I'm not too upset about the downtime, you are one to speak of maturity. How is cussing and calling people that name showing maturity? How do you know we don't have jobs, or volunteer, or are incredibly busy otherwise? Try not to attack people. It's immature.

Well, it's half past 9 my side now (in South Africa, playing on the EU server) and I do understand the need for maintenance. Even though the extended times look serious. Just please post updates to the ETA for Europe in the correct time. 6:00 PM EDT means nothing to me, 10:00 PM UTC or GMT does. It's a minor thing, but when you trying to check on things it becomes annoying to having to 'translate' the answer into a relevant time.

all joking aside guys, i really think while it sucks that the servers are down and all, its not like they're doing it to spite you. just deal with it, find a good book or something to read (the elder scrolls novels are really good) and just mellow out.

or pick up another hobby that doesn't have the possibility of being unavailable

Pretty sure you can do some quick mental math...you can look up the conversion from EDT to UTC/GMT...I know really hard concept to understand heaven forbid that you do simple math

But then again, in the end GW2 doesn't even offer half the content of ESO, even though it released 2 years before ESO. And yes I'm counting the recent expansion too, which is pretty small to be honest. Imperial City + Orsinium will likely counter it easily.

I love ESO much more than GW2 but honestly, PvE wise and other than story telling, GW2 offers more interesting and innovative contents, especially with the latest expansion. Check out the subscriber number difference between the subreddits of these two game. Numbers do not lie.

GW2 might be the only game that barely has downtime but most MMOs do not have that frequent and that long downtimes. WoW, SWtOR, TSW... you name it. ESO is the only AAA game that has the so many technical issues in this industry.

Heaven forbid we don't memorise North American time zone conversions to do those simple maths calculations. I mean we're so backwards where I am we don't even have Daylight Savings time. Sarcasm aside, if you cater your game for both North American and European players do the updates in both time zones.

How about all times are shown in UTC...then everybody has to do the simple math.

This is a bugbear of mine...on the DCUO forums all times are PT...the devs don't spend the minute or two to add UTC, even though they too have EU servers.

This is seriously fecked up. I bought the game a couple of days ago and in that time have hardly been able to play due to servers being down..... I feel like i just wasted a bunch of money on a piece of *** that dossent work.....

Any glitches or bug fixes are for YOU... Because ZOS addresses more problems than most, they have more fixes, which take time. Namecalling.....1st of all im a paying customer and if i feel the need to criticize what i see as poor customer service then i have every right to do that. Secondly did i know what i was getting into? Evidently not. I mean i only subbed ff14 for a year and never had to deal with the problems that plauge this game even though ff14 has waaaaay more regular updates and content add-ons than this eso with an actual ui that is informative to boot. I mean i only subbed dcuo for 4 years from ps3 to ps4 and saw thim 1st hand shut down servers to fix bugs and not just ignore their customers pleas for fixes. So next time you want resort to namecalling look in the mirror because youre the only dimtwit in this conversation
