Had major surgery (the kind with an extended recovery) and decided I might as well see what ESO was like so I could count it as an Elder Scrolls game I had played. Got into the last 2-3 beta weekends for the big stress tests. ✭For 200 vs 200 battles. Shame they dont exist anymore...Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.1 -

frethopper✭✭✭I have a background with Elder Scrolls games and just wanted to do an MMO set in Tamriel really. I was hoping ESO would contain ALL the areas we have seen so far, especially Morrowind. Sadly that hasn't happened, or at least not yet. In the mean time I'm enjoying the content we do have, although there are times when I wish I could do some content solo that I'm currently forced to do in groups.

I'm looking forward to the Orsinium release and continuing my adventure through Wrothgar. I love The Elder Scrolls franchise.
The Lore continually engages me.
I love MMO's.
ESO is a good marriage of MMO and The Elder Scrolls (IMO).
So, yeah. I'm having a blast with it. I've barely missed playing a day since it dropped for consoles.

MercyKilling✭✭✭✭✭I purchased it because no cash shop and it WAS a subscription based MMO. That changed. I played less. Then they added a justice system that was totally garbage. I played even less. Then they started changing combat, which I loved at the start of the game. Now I play even less.
With all the "improvements" to the game, I can hardly be bothered to log in and collect my materials from my henchmen anymore.
And no, nobody can have my stuff. I'm still hoping Zenimax will come around and reverse things back to the way they were.I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
3) Difficulty slider.
4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.4 -
BaconMagic✭✭✭As an avid fan of TES games, I wanted this game from the get go. I never played modern MMOs, but this game looked like just the thing to fill the void left when I quit playing MUDs in the previous decade. I get burnt out on single player RPGs fast because of the power fallacy used to make them, the games never get hard enough to make use of all of the skills acquired while leveling. So, this is good enough. For now. We will see. I kinda want to play AC Syndicate right now because this downtime sucks the big one.0
