Same thing here. Stuff happens.
I love playing ESO but my life is not so entwined with it that I am lost/panicked without it.
Hopefully this fixes some of the lag and slow load times that were introduced a few months ago.
Take your time ZOS and get it right.
We'll update the main announcement thread with official ETAs and when maintenance is complete, but be sure to keep an eye on the Dev Tracker for other posts as well.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »We have a forum post discussing tomorrow's maintenance here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/227015/na-and-eu-megaserver-maintenance
Thanks Gina for giving us information about maintenance, and a rough ETA
I am often looking for any kind of info during maintenance. it saves a lot of time constantly checking the launcher to see if the realm is back online. both being a player, and someone that is in charge of a large guild. it really me helps to know
Is there a post where info is frequently posted during the update process? or is it a matter of searching related topics for ZOS employee messages throughout the forum
Going on 6 hours!!! Question: What is the first thing you'll do when you get on to play?
I support maintenance on everything; it's what keeps it working properly! On the other hand, I don't think it's too much to ask for an estimated time of completion. Even if it is a high-ball estimation (actually prefer a high-ball estimation).

While we were able to restore service for the European megaservers within a couple hours, it extended our timeline for the North American megaserver maintenance and caused it to not only go longer than intended, but we weren’t able to finish what we had started.

ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Just posted in the main thread but just to update everyone here, the datacenter maintenance is still ongoing (as you can tell). We still have some work to complete which could take another three hours, give or take. We'll let you know if we get a new ETA, and will keep you updated as best as we can.

Might want to update those people on Facebook and Twitter about this @ZOS_GinaBruno before they get rabid again.
