Maintenance Again 10/28 for NA PC?

All that time for maintenance yesterday and now all this time for maintenance today. Honestly did zos understand what they were getting into when they decided to get into the mmo department? At times it seems like they're severely understaffed or lack leadership in key areas to get stuff done. Bugs and glitches last entirely too long and now 2 days of at least 6+ hours of maintenance smh. If it wasnt for a certain ps4 Japanese mmo's lack of good pvp id go back to that. Regular updates, holiday events, an actual crafting system that you had to work at, open world bosses that actually required a large amount of players to tackle and the ability to have almost any style on any piece of gear crafted or acquired from a drop. Yet zos cant even fix a mechanic like the hotbars locking upcausing you not to be able to cast any powers or use weapon attacks. Thats a day 1 bug btw. Even that half-***** mmo superhero mmo on ps4 would've taken the game down and fixed the load screen issue within a week of it becoming an issue. So get your **** together zos, or you'll be the mmo version of Tracy Mcgrady. There will be moments of greatness but there will be something missing that kept you from being in the company of the greats.

I am often looking for any kind of info during maintenance. it saves a lot of time constantly checking the launcher to see if the realm is back online. both being a player, and someone that is in charge of a large guild. it really me helps to know

Is there a post where info is frequently posted during the update process? or is it a matter of searching related topics for ZOS employee messages throughout the forum

As an Aussie player these maintenance times do not bother me. mainly because our prime time, is the games quietest time of day/night. yes i hate when there is maintenance coz its always during the times i usually play. but as a whole. it seems like its the time where it would upset the least amount of players worldwide. when i first started playing i really wanted an oceanic server. but now i am glad to be on a server that has enough people online to make a group for things like pledges sooo much easier. and many other similar reasons also

So are we meant to believe that they planned to do maintenance on the login side of things and didn't expect that that game would cease to function as expected really? I don't mind maintenance usually but checked Sunday no maintenance scheduled monday hours of maintenance and now tuesday again hours of maintenance so was it last minute and they are just covering or what?

On a slightly cheerier note can't wait to get the Orsinium update played a fair bit on PTS and have collected some cool gear I know will take far longer to get on live cos karma's a bi***

Well.damn.I've been trumped!! I always play the EU server when the NA server is down.Now,both are down.Last night the NA server was down,and I thought it was done earlier today.So I played till it came back online.Now its down again.***!
Looks like I am going to hunt for new Morrowind mods (of which there are plenty!) ,and play MW till the others come back on.I dont need another fancy game.I have my beloved Vvardenfell to run around it and build homes,or add new stuff to. I'll take my toys and go there! Hummph!

Great, 2 days in a row can't play eso.... And only 2 weeks away from Fallout 4 too... I guess I will not be able to reach my goal.... Thank you so much for this "well planned" maintenance time. Now I have time to reconsider my eso plus subscription

I wish they would just go ahead finishing the maintenance yesterday, I guess this is what I get for not being in the same timezone with the main populace... Something to consider for future game by Zeni....

Anyway, yeah, this whole thing with accidentally tanking the EU and login servers Tuesday was a bit noobish, but it isn't often that an entire server complex is taken down and things can happen. I can't be too critical without knowing more, but I hope it was not due to lack of planning in advance.

All the complaining about the inconvenience has obscured that they are upgrading server hardware and fixing problems, and as far as I am concerned, take the servers down and upgrade them. The servers machines in that room are probably coming up on 2 years old now. It is good to see them spending money on megaserver upgrades. Hopefully, this will reduce general lag and make the game more reliable. They have the @lordrichter Seal of Approval for the work they are trying to accomplish today, and that makes the down time a lot easier to accept.

I read some of these posts and I honestly don't think half of you realize how much work is actually put into a game of this magnitude. Like anything great theres always someone with no viable understanding of its creation who thinks it could be better.

Thanks Zos administration and staff for the hard work, exhausting hours, and tedious effort you put in to please a playerbase that nags constantly. I will continue doing my part aswell as others by squishing them in cyrodil extra hard in your honor. Cheers.

Ppl usually do their job better when you put some reasonable pressure on them. So there is nothing wrong with that.

I only posted,and didnt say whom I was speaking about. Tons of people in the forums who talk about unsubbing all the time.Which is something I wouldnt do,as I said. And while I dont donate a large sum of money,I certainly do take money out of my account every month to support them.

Did I really hurt your feelings? Didnt mean to.Hey,why not go into Second Life? I am in there a lot and there's always tons of stuff to do to keep one occupied till the servers get back up. :}

Ever lose your car for a day because the mechanic discovered something unexpected or a part had to be ordered?

Same thing here. Stuff happens.

I love playing ESO but my life is not so entwined with it that I am lost/panicked without it.

Hopefully this fixes some of the lag and slow load times that were introduced a few months ago.

Take your time ZOS and get it right.
