Stam Sorc questions

I have been away for a few months and decided to come back and check out the latest patch and expansion to see how stamina sorcs are nowadays. Are they viable in pvp? If so what skills/abilities are worth investing in? Also what armor and weapon sets should i aim for? I want to go bow and either DW or 2H and mostly focus on 1v1 or small team fights. I am currently vr5. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi,

They are VERY viable these days as some sorc skills now also have a stamina based side to them... forgive me as idont know which..

Sets that are being used are the STD sets for stam users like hundings rage, Agility jewelry, night silence, night mother,

2H and dual wield are most common with a bow for ranged attacks as well...

There are plenty build videos out there on you tube..

I am currently building my first stam sorc,
Redguard with DW, 2H and Bow..

As said, alot of Stamina abilities on the sorc tree that helps.

Bound Armaments > 8% Max stamina for being on your bar (although the look IMO is not good)
Any sorc ability = +2% Weapon damage
Stam Regen = Any sorc ability

Mix that in with vampire and bats = another 10 % Stamina Regen!

Stam sorcs are build on the self-heals from Critical Surge.

Most pvp stam sorcs also use Boundless Storm and Streak to increase their movement.

Feng Rush uses these skills on his Orc stam sorc (tri-stat regen drinks, no vamp)

Bar 1: Two-Handed - Stampede, Streak, Rally/Vigor, Wrecking Blow, Executioner > Greater Storm Atronach

Bar 2: Dual Wield - Steel Tornado, Shuffle, Boundless Storm, Razor Caltrops, Critical Surge > Ice Comet
