A group from Vokundein and Flagons/Dragons downed AA hard mode on Monday with a 63k score. Awesome job guys!

A little bit of both. An applicant an take part in trial runs and other events and I'm sure their performance can help the application process. I'm not acrecuitment officer but I believe the interview (or little chat) does carry some weight.

3. My gaming time is fairly limited, generally 2-3 hours on most weekdays, and longer on weekends. Half of it generally get sucked by PVP. My timing on weekdays are usually late pacific time (9pm-11pm pacific, sometime earlier, sometime a bit later). Does this sound reasonable? What time is your guild mostly active on?
4. As tinythinker asked above, do you have a trial period for the guild or trial runs with the guild? As I mentioned, this will only be my second non-casual PVE guild, and I'm still not sure I can devote enough time to the guild (though I do want to try).

I can try to reply to your questions, but I'm not an officer so I'll answer them from my perspective and when a guild officer sees this post I'm sure they can elaborate.

1. Vokundein has an event every night either a PVP event or a PVE event, you can be active in either or both. The guild does have minimum activity requirements both within the guild forum and/or in game. Effectively if you show up for the PVE nights and make a few posts on the guild forums per week your fine.
2. I was a PVPer when I joined the guild and had done pretty much none of the endgame group content, the guild promotes improvement and progression, I'l currently involved in a vWGT progression group and we are working towards mastering the dungeon. I also consider myself a pretty average player as well.
3. I generally play 3 or four nights a week and for 2-3 hours, very rarely do I get to play on weekends (family time). As long as you take part in a guild activity and make I think its a minimum of 3 posts per week on the forum then your good.
4. You apply to the guild via the guild forum ( if you click on any of our signatures it will link you there) the recruitment department will contact you and set up an interview. If accepted you will begin a trial period as a prospect (or a Thrall of Vokundein). The trial period will last a variable amount of time depending on your level of activity and contribution to the guild. I believe I was a Thrall for 2 and a half to 3 months. During your Thrall period you can take part in all guild activities and your minimum activity requirements are the same as a full member or (Oathsworn), the only real difference is that if you break the guilds code of conduct (which is found on the forum and is read as part of the application, its pretty common sense) then you are removed without question.

I hope I have helped, like I said a guild officer can probably give more info but overall Vokundien is a pretty good place to be.

Oh, sorry. Official events start at 8 pm EST and generally run till 10, but then there are always the westerners who are up way after I've gone to bed........
