What's the best heavy armor at the moment?

Currently I'm playing a dragon Knight tanky build which I want to keep. I don't pvp much but do quite a lot of dungeons. Any suggestions for the best all round/pve/dungeon armor?

SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTING! But in all seriousness the newest build I have seen have either used Hist Bark or Armor Master as their main 5 piece set. But those are mainly for Stamina set ups like myself. I'm unsure about Magicka set ups. @Personofsecrets might have a better idea of that? I'm not sure what he runs but he usually has a wider view with magicka than me.1 -
slaptitz✭Thanks man I was already rocking a hist bark set up. I'm all stamina so no need for a magicka build. I remembered hearing about a black rose set or something along those lines that came with the Imperial update. Any idea if it's good or not?0

It could have been good but during the testing on the Public Test Server before the launch of IC they changed it and is in most peoples view a piece of S now, I would not waste my time on it.1 -

No problem, yea definitely play around with it, no build should ever just be copy pasted, that's boring. Posted builds should work more like inspiration for people to create their own set up that fits their style.1 -

✭✭✭I think some stam users are going with hundings rage, but the best heavy armor really depends on what you want to do. If you aren't super concerned with PVP, then Histbark is probably the best set for tanking. You don't really need it for the vast majority of content though.1 -

I think hundings rage has quite weak stats for my linking but thanks for the suggestion0 -

If you are a tanky type role then stick to the tanky type armours(Histbark)
If you want to DPS then you need to go with Hundingsrage....
