Really, though, I had somewhat of the same problem. I never liked being the random hero surrounded by people waiting for me to do all the work and then carrying on doing hero stuff somewhere else while they reap the benefits.
The Dominion story is much better about that. Sure, you're still the hero, but all the other people around you are just as important and are doing amazing things. Hell, Razum-dar saved my sorry hide from prison more times than I can count.

The reason that you don't become the leader of those factions is that there are people a hundred times more suited for the role than you are. I mean, in the case of the Ash'abah there is already a clear successor for Marimah. You can't seriously expect to become the leader of the inhabitants of Leki's Blade, considering what great emphasis they put on experience and wisdom, when you have only been a menber for 15 minutes.Frostbitte wrote: »GuyNamedSean wrote: »Seems a lot more like real life than becoming the Thane of every hold in Skyrim or the Vampire Werewolf God member of every Great House and Ashlander tribe in Morrowind.

Id agree with this, I mean I would be okay with maybe just even a little warriors outpost. Like the A'Sha'bah or Luki place, both which needed a leader, you saved them and did everything for them and then someone else gets leader.

I prefer realism over the "DRAGONBORN!" nonsense we got in Skyrim. It worked in Morrowind as almost everyone see you as an "N'wah" in the beginning. But then you start to climb the great slippery ladder and suddenly you are "Muthsera", it acrually felt important to be Saint Nerevar reborn as you had earned the trust of your once detractors.

Because you're watching the game from your point of view only. You didn't participate in 99% of potential things that were happening simulatenously, yet you want to get a credit for being "the main hero". Well, heroic fantasy is both childish and oldschool and definitely not a way to go in MMO where there are thousands of "Saviors of Nirn", "Pact Heros" etc. Ok, you saved the king, so you received 624 Gold and Diamong Ring of Spell Cost Reduction, 1 Skill Point and you're done there, move along.AronGrayblood wrote: »You could get a keep with some land after finishing main quest of zone, but yea i just loved how in EP campain i was no one even tho i saved pact 4 times.
Also i just Loled (in sad way) when after saving shadowfen in next zone Argonian delegate asked me "who are you that i should listen"
Over all game have alot of things to polish. I would say that it is extrymly good beta and promising game but.... yea... over all game is simply unpolished. For example Playing dark elf i go to vilige and see the guy, so i talk to him. Npc says to me "I do not like Pact being here, Dark elfs were always black sheep of elfs" you can find things like this around this game like... evrywhere. All you do seams while importent in world like a thing that nobody cares YOU did beside randome people that somehow know that i did evrything....
Over all they need to fix few things. I expect them to do that, in course of next 10 years.
