But it isn't, the reason I want to play it right now is because it wasn't working, that's it.
What I need is someone to give me a reason to come back or I'll just focus on all the negatives again (circular menu's for mouse users????????????) and bin it until I get drunk and bored again.

It's ESO that will not like him anyway. After reading your post ... No, you're most certainly going to hate ESO.matronpain wrote: »Is there anything anyone can say to recommend this game to me?

Remind me, VR2 is level 52, isn't it? Does it really take so much time to know if you like a game or not?NewBlacksmurf wrote: »My recommendation is to play till VR2 before trying to conclude if you like or dislike the game a...

Whatever. Do you really need to go through 50 levels to know if you like the game or not?NewBlacksmurf wrote: »No VR2 isn't level 52. If you have that perspective then you don't understand how the game works.
VR anything is level 50 ...

VR anything is level 50 with added character stats as well as the benefits from champion points but it's not in any way considered level 52. If you must apply a level to it then maybe consider it level 58-66 ish but I'd stay away from that as again it's not how it works as at Vr1 a lot of other things come into play and if we use the level example it proves not to be numerical because a VR2 can do vr10 quests solo and that would be like level 58-66 doing level 100-130 questing which again isn't right. VR2 can go to Cyrodil and be battle leveled to Vr14 and do that stuff or on 11/2 be battle levels for Orsinium and crafting leveled for gathering....it's just not as you say 52 or vr2
The point of playing to VR2 is to complete the main story, and some of the silver quests or PvP, and or Craglorn, Cyrodil or Vet dungeons, Imperial City encounters to get a feel of what the entire game offers before trying to judge. But as mentioned if you can't see yourself playing that long then you already know it's not for you...uninstall and move to another game.

Omg really. I'm pulling out now. What will happen to me if I'm here when it goes down several years from now? Help please, I'm frightened!

I agree that there several aspects to the game that need to be discovered before judging, but there's no need to reach VR2 for that.
If you don't like PvP at lvl 10 you won't like it more at lvl VR2.
If you don't like the graphics at lvl 10 you won't like the more at VR2 (landscapes change but the graphics are consistent throughout the game)
If you don't like questing or the story or the storytelling at VR10 you won't like it more at VR2.
If you don't like farming / trading / crafting at lvl 10 you won't like it more at VR2.
If you don't like the combat system at lvl 10 you won't like it more at VR2 (while admittedly you'll have more skills and options then but that doesn't change the combat system in itself)
If you don't like 4-man-dungeons at lvl 10 you won't like veteran dungeons either.
The only thing you cannot experience at all at lvl 10 is 12-man-content. I guess if you don't like the rest you won't like that either.
And, yes, Veteran ranks ARE levels. With a different name and a different scale, but still, they are levels, and strictly speaking, VR2 is level 51 (since level 50 doesn't exist).
He's right about this one, v2 doesn't feel like level 52. The XP curve changes when you reach vet ranks. The story becomes a unimmersive mess and destroys faction loyalty. The champion system comes into play. It's all more streamlined now than it used to be, but it still feels different from regular leveling - and I think we all know how many people left the game over the initial design of vet ranks.Sithisvoid wrote: »No, save yourself the headache and play something else.
