Perfect Roe removed, reduced drop rate or horrible RNG?

As the title states, before the previous 2 updates/server maintenance I was averaging 1 perfect roe every 100-125 fish, since I haven't got a perfect roe in over 600 fish. Is it just me having horrible RNG or are others experiencing this same issue? I've even noticed less perfect roe on guild traders...

Swindy✭✭✭I'm going a hundred to two hundred fish without a roe at present.
Then I'm getting two roe in a row...then another quickly, then back to the wait.
It's been like this since the second last update.
Prior I could bank on a row every 50-60 fish like clock work.
600 sounds like you've angered the fishing Gods and need to make penance.
I suggest slaughtering some Craglorn Nerids and fishing their spots, or Lake Rumare with a back drop of the WGT anchor, and Pvp battles raging in the nearby keeps.II Swindy II

He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...

✭It's ridiculous! Two days ago I fished 320 fishes and I got 3 Perfect Roes. I spent something like 5 hours, used all my baits trying to make a good money but the game the excessive randomness cut me off.I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).

I've had the same issue. Lost count of how many fish I've skinned. I've tried on multiple characters, 2 accounts....Nothing. "Such is the nature of evil. What? I'm the exact opposite of you! I can't even use Nirn but damn do I get it everyday, Perfect Roe? I found 2. Ever. I'm saving my fish now until the update. Maybe they will fix the drop rate a little?

It is. I find at least one a day just picking nodes. Then I get 1 or 2 if I have a survey. But Perfect Roe? I have found ZERO in the past month. I'll keep trying though

When I was getting my Master Angler and had a ton of fish to fillet I once did 700 at one sitting and did NOT get a single one.
A day or two later I got three in my first 20.
The RNG is so random its hard to say that it's not working unless you fillet something like a couple of thousand fish.0 -

✭There is an addon that tracks how many fish youve fillet and how many out of those you got a roe on and calculates a drop percentage based on it. out of the thousands I did it was a steady .7-.8% drop.
