Sewers are already dead?

Recently finished gearing up, been looking to do pvp to get caltrops and such. Running through sewers and in an hour in the most populated server I find 4 people. What am I missing here? Was there any thought put into the longevity of the content?

It will be even emptier after Orsinium release. I hope that in 6 months ZoS will make IC a real PvP area.

    Because I can!

I can tell you honest reason why I am not in the sewers / city:

    - It takes time to get there, and if the map are owned by another alliance, its horse simulator.

    - The loading screens -.- . It comes to a point where Im just not patient anymore. One month in the sewer, and now I had enough of it. I had to travel to other alliance sewer to get a good fight, but that requires 2 loading screens. One up to the city and one down again in sewer.

    - Nightblades are the last reason why I dont enter. I am even tired of explaining why, it have nothing to do with the cloak itself, but.. Idk, just read the 3k threads out there about them. And there was even a vote once about what class you played in pvp, and nightblades won by far. I have tried with detection pots and caltrops, thats all I can do, still their mobility are so huge, both escape and offence, and their easy access to buffs and debuffs that are super importent in the sewer.

I have 225k tv stones banked for now, and feel I am done with the farming, in case new items come I am prepared. But I have better things to do right now compared to endless loading screen and then immediately stomp on a nightblade.

Honestly nightblades aren't even a problem because 90% of the time they're just idiots and spam cloak and ambush. The smart ones are lethal but that's like 1 out of 20.

I juet want vigor and caltrops to use in pve, this ap grind is just disgusting though. Pvp in this game has been one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had, I plan on getting those skills and sticking to pve until they make some major changes( like an organized arena or dueling system) and if they'd actually fix the break free to where it worked atleast 95% of the time.

Tbh I don't see this game going much longer if they stick to their current model

An organized pvp system is the sole reason alot of people play certain games, like WoW.. or my last mmo, Archeage. On that game I think just in the alpha testing alone I had well over a thousand hours just in the 1v1 arena and a bit in the 5v5.

I will be playing this for awhile for the pve content, but pve alone doesn't keep players. Competetive pvp does. (Exception being WoW with their awesome raids, until the panda nation attacked.)

I play in the sewers, in PC-EU and it's very active. Lots of enemy players, lots of groups in there from my own side as well. I just don't have to stand 40 minutes in queque to get into Cyrodiil anymore, which I am very happy for.

I believe the population there has decreased, but it is no where near empty.

It's a level grind area with equipment grind. ONce you're done, you're done with no reason to come back.

Put three scrolls down there that impact the alliance war. Now you have a reason, but then you'll get the zergs Zos doesn't want in the sewers

Don't know about everyone else but I'm not playing when zergs are the only playstyle
If your group is bigger than 6 members gain 75% damage reduction.

Write this on the back of your box and see how many sales you get!

You won't get any new PvP players until this archaic AoE crap is fixed.
I for one won't resub until:
    1.) You fix lag.
2.) You remove AOE caps we voted against.
3.) 12 months have passed (this is how long we've waited for you to 'get with it')[/b]

Well, why should anyone go to IC to PvP? There is literally no reason other than avoiding lag and there is no reward for going there instead of Cyrodiil.

Pretty much a shame ZOS wasted resources on this DLC turning into a wasteland now because they were to lazy to implement some meaningful mechanics into IC.

Since I run alone I prefer fighting in the confined spaces of the sewers because zergs can't move nearly as fast as me, so I can pick off those that get too far from the pack.

I think the only thought that was put into this is collecting the TV stones. They probably expected to see people farming them into perpetuity since IC is the only place you can get certain equipment, and the IC farmers would be able to sell that equipment to people who aren't in IC.

Add to that the fact that the environment is designed for gank \ ambush style cut throat PvP, and it just doesn't suit many people's tastes. What has happened is that people have just stopped caring. They put together a group of 12 to do a sewer run, collect their TV stones, and run back to base. Or maybe they'll get a smaller group together and farm collectibles. There's really nothing else to do.

I think the scrolls is a decent idea, but that might still encourage the zerg v zerg style PvP. If they did something like have a series of floodgates \ valves that would control some kind of some bonus in Cyrodiil, it would provide an objective in IC for more structured PvP, and dissuade zergs since you would have to be spread out to control those floodgates \ valves. If, for example, controlling all the floodgates opened another passage from the sewers to one of the scroll temples, you'd have IC tied to Cyrodiil PvP. The additional vector of attack would encourage the spread of forces and help reduce the zerging (unless one of these vectors is just stupidly easier than the others). Now, I'm not saying this is the greatest idea, but the lack of a focused objective is a contributing factor to the lack of long term interest in IC PvP, and having objectives that can be focused on in serial succession is a contributing factor to zerging. I think the distributed floodgates idea would provide an alternative to that, although I'm not entirely sure what an appropriate reward would be.

I think there is still some activity in the Sewers but i wouldn't really know i don't go there but the districts are totally dead and devoid of pvp..

The districts are pve grind zones now with the occasional pve dual.

Maybe now they'll put back the District Control, some PvP objectives and such and actually make it the PvP zone it was supposed to be.

Imperial City free access destroy Cyrodill gaming, because PvE rats overpopulated sewers. :/
And spread of disease like lags, Noxiphilic Sanguivoria or Lycanthropy, so all rats die fast.

This whole *** game is dead. It's sad because it had so much potential. There are just so many things in the game that are broken and ZOS can't seem to figure out how ti fix it. When they attempt to fix it they break other things even more.

Yay, I got my caltrops! My character has been playing strictly PvP since level 10 and got them at level 45.

IC has been a little different for me; I really never enjoyed it. I've been there a total of 4 times; two times I didn't see anyone, another time I was with a zerg which I only stayed for a few minutes because there were way too many players, and then another time I went and just got killed/lost.

I plan on revisiting it at a higher level, maybe when I am Vet 14 ( year 2018? ).

I think i have like 20 TV stones.
