Playing on the NA ps4 server I can't find a guild or anyone to play with. My friends quit playing after lvl 15 or so. I made it to vet lvl 2 now after a little break. I sit in que for daily dungeon quests all night with no pop as a healer. I really want to stick with it but it's no fun soloing all the time. Do you think it gets better at vr16? I'm not sure if I can solo till then but it would give me hope. I have posted on the guild forums and even tried to get interest in starting a guild with others like me but got zero responses. Ohh well just venting I guess.

I know the feeling. I have a single friend left on ESO. All my friends I've known for years have left the game except for the two of us. My entire guild of 120 some odd people have completely stopped playing.

I'm in the process of trying to build a new guild off a a merger with someone else's dying guild. I'm doing all the work right now and, even though our new guys play almost daily, none of them bloody talk in guild chat.

I don't get it. There are plenty of people playing plenty of the time but Dumac take the idea of anyone being social.

I figured once I hit vet lvls I could at least do the daily dungeons quest but nope it never pops. I'm literally sitting here waiting. This will be the fifth night in a row trying. I just hope it gets better soon as I level more.

If we had a chat box like we should have, it wouldn't get this bad.

Wasn't going to bring up the chat box issue lol. Good news about GF being fixed though. Now to just find an active guild!

Same here. That's why i only pvp. Sometimes you can find people needing an extra outside the Undaunted Enclaves. It'll help if you're at least max level though

If you're on DC. PSN: dday3six add me I'll run with you. I'm VR16 but I don't mind at all to run stuff at lower levels.

Its problem I was lucky to make friends with my crafting skills. Ive suggested Guilds could put NPC recruitters around the zones to recruit for them, or then put them into Taverns, but even then you must have use voice chat.

Also I think active guilds should takeover inactive guilds. Basically every guilds needs to pay for protection, if it goes off, others guilds can takeover. That should mean even Guild Leader become bored and leaves the game, the remaining players finds a home somewhere.

Same here. Luckily, I've found two good guilds so have people to play with.

Pvp, dungeons, theory crafting, help with crafting, getting gear etc.

Check the guild section on here, there will be one to join

I think the issue with people leaving soon after joining is the fact consoles have so many games to play as opposed to picking and sticking to an MMORPG on PC. Very rarely will a console player pick and stick to just 1 game like I am on my PS4 (this one)...

    Being social ?
Maybe the issue is more complex.
I play on PC but since we use TeamSpeak as a guild some aspects are comparable.

1/ Talk... ok, but about what ? If we're not doing some content together, or talking about sole game-related stuff, I don't see what we would talk about. It's a fantasy escape world and there's nothing more annoying to me than people starting small talk in TeamSpeak about their day at work, what the weather is like IRL, or their children's poops. I believe that in order to have people talking you need to create guild events (not necessarily dungeons or raids, could be other stuff like hide&seek, enigmas, roleplay and such).

2/ Talk while playing ? Unless it's something related to what's happening on the screen, talking and playing are incompatible. I cannot feel immersed in the game while chatting vocally with someone, I cannot listen to an NPC while someone else's voice is covering. Either I talk/listen to someone, or I play, but not both. Text chat is different : it stays there for a while so I can catch up and participate to the conversation whenever I'm ready to take a break on my quests.

3/ Talking also means listening. From my experience, as soon as there are more than 4 people in one vocal channel, there's a 100% chance that someone has a badly tuned microphone, background noise or music, talking to their RL people without shutting down the mic, or eat/cough/breathe heavily in the microphone. This is game-breaking. (I'm not even mentioning racism/sexism/agressivity/general stupidity - those are frequent in guild chats too, even though less than in area chat).

4/ I live alone at the moment but if I didn't, I wouldn't like to impose my talking ingame to my RL loved ones, even when they're awake. It would make me look pretty silly and it's something that I wouldn't like them to do to me either. As soon as you're making noise in a common room, you're occupying everyone's space.

Bottom line : people not using microphones are not necessarily "anti social", they just want to enjoy the game without too many unrelated parasite noise and conversations, and to respect the people living with them.

Bottom line 2 : I'm glad I play on PC because there's text chat. Looks like consoles really need text chat.

Have you read the pts forums? If not please check the groupfinder thread and tell people again that it will be fixed and improved.

    AoE caps.
If your group is bigger than 6 members gain 75% damage reduction.

Write this on the back of your box and see how many sales you get!

You won't get any new PvP players until this archaic AoE crap is fixed.
I for one won't resub until:
    1.) You fix lag.
2.) You remove AOE caps we voted against.
3.) 12 months have passed (this is how long we've waited for you to 'get with it')[/b]
