Opinions on RGB? (Red, Green, Blue game)

Ok so I see people playing this game all the time and i just get pissed off. Ok so you bet whatever amount of gold evenly with 3 people, and winner takes the whole pot. so 33.33333* percent chance to win, but its a huge payout, so i get that aspect. I know peepz who have lost 1.3 mil playing this, but thats fine. My only real problem is this: The "Dealer" gets 10 percent of the pot every round. And people just keep playing and playing and not realizing that THE DEALER WINS 100 PERCENT OF THE TIME AND THE ONLY REASON THE DEALER IS GETTING PEOPLE TO PLAY IS BECAUSE HE GETS RICH FOR DOING JACK.

Its reeeeeeally annoying. Its a stupid Vegas trick and people dont seem to care that the dealer is making millions and millions of gold for sitting on their butt and clicking a button while everyone else is mainly just losing money betting multiple times. I think its just funny that people just don't seem to get that. Its a dealers game, not a players game. The dealer is doing it solely to get tons of money and peeps kinda just ignore this aspect.

Anyone share my opinion on this? Or if you have a personal insult for no reason thats cool too ;D

Please help expose these *** if you see them.

P.S They get super defensive when you mention this to them because THEY KNOW they get dirt rich off of it and they don't want people to stop playing.

So you lost 1.3 million and you're now mad?

I do think shell games have some room in ESO.

The painting accurately displays a performer doing the cups and balls routine, which has been practiced since Egyptian times. The shell game does have some origins in this old trick. The real trick of this painting is the pickpocket who is working for the conjurer. The pickpocket is robbing the spectator who is bent over.

Ok so ill reply to both the dudes wondering what im talking about. Ok so theres a dwarven armor thing that has a chance to summon a dwarven roller guy when spells are casted. When the Dwarven thing is summoned, it can be RED, BLUE, OR GREEN. Its completely random. So you get players to play and each chooses a color and bets the same amount. The winner wins the whole pot minus the dealer taking 10 percent. As far as I know, this is only played on consoles in riften on EP. My problem is the dealers profit and 0 percent chance to lose ever. Yet people play. Its their choice true but if they only understood the dealer is clicking a button and getting multi-millions.

Honestly, it sounds like a bore considering the wide array of things to do in this game. It also sounds like you're paying the dealer for the fact that he has the engine guardian set and can run the game.

The typical house edge on casino games is 2%-10% (or worse), so the dealer taking 10% is pricey but not an abject rip off. If you don't like it don't play. There are many ways to separate a fool from his money, this is just one in a very long list.

If the dealer wins every time then that means he knows the pattern which means the color is not-so-random. If that is the case then sure it's a scam, otherwise he or she is just incredibly lucky.

Player gambling based on the RNG of Engine Guardian proccing a particular colour.

The "dealer" takes 10% and the winner takes 90% of total pot size.

If no winner, dealer takes all.

Sounds like a good way to make gold, could even work it into RP.

Oh, I didn't really expect an answer, thank you for explaing it (and sorry for accusing you to not knowing in which forum you're on^^). Now it makes a LOT more sense :)
I think I've seen these Dwarven things a few times and always wondered why they're oddly attached to the players; I had no idea this comes from the armor, that's interesting!
But anyways.. I think it's wrong that these dealers make a fortune from this, but as long as there're players who play this, it won't stop, I guess. You (or others) can only warn those who play.

Just don't participate in any betting/gambling "games" hosted by players, never ever ever.

It's like that Dice Game thing back in Runescape days, people were making TONS of gold from hosting seemingly legit dice games and whenever a player got comfortable and started betting big bucks, the host would just scam him and take the money.

I remember a few were famous for doing it, they had all the best vanity items and armor in the game because of it and yet it just goes to show how dumb most people are for even getting involved, never mind falling for it. :disappointed:

It's the 2-piece bonus for the Engine Guardian monster set (the helm comes from Darkshade Caverns II). When it procs the dwemer sphere comes out and restores a ton of health or magicka or stamina over time. The colour of the beam connecting you to the dwemer sphere indicates which of the 3 resources is currently being restored. It's an awesome set for tanking, as tanks typically use all 3 resources, so no matter which resource you randomly get regenerated it will be useful.
