[Need Help] Still getting insanely long loading screens.

Hi,

I am still experiencing insanely long loading screens. It started when Imperial City DLC was released. It took 93 and 99 seconds on the last loading screens that I counted. I am at a loss how to fix this.

Details

Started on Imperial City release

Have completely formatted PC since Imperial City came out

Fresh Install

Turned addons off

Turned graphics down to minimum and all extra options OFF

Tried running in fullscreen instead of Windowed Mode

Two GTX 760's

16 GB Ram

i5-2500k Sandy Bridge

1 TB Solid State Drive

Windows 7

Drivers up to date

Turned off other software while playing ESO

Tried using Razer Cortex to speed things up while in game

No viruses/Spyware plus up to date security software

I'm honestly not sure what else to try. Others are saying their screens are only maybe 20-30 seconds (honestly, this is still too long, but hey, I'd take it at this point). Anyone have any ideas?

There is nothing you can do, it's affecting everyone and we just gotta wait for it to get fixed. The last update has me lagging at all times so it's almost unplayable for me.

Nope, nothing can be done until they fix it. We have all been posting about this since the release of IC (those that are suffering), only seen the odd post from ZOS saying try x, y or z.

Oh and a post somewhere saying the know about this issue, but after weeks, nothing.

On the plus side for me personally, due to this, ive been able to put the sub i pay, erm, paid for this, onto something else where i am not waiting 3 mins to change locations.

Yeah it's a problem for me as well since IC release. My average loading screen is 3-4 minutes. Drives me a bit crazy. The loading screens that hit while you are moving around don't help either. Came out of the cave after making a set of Hundings Rage and pow...loading screen as I was running up the hill. I then got the blue sky of death and it dropped me at a wayshrine. At least I didn't die that time.

It's not my system or my connection so only thing to do it grab popcorn for the loading screen intermissions until they fix it.

It's much worse on the weekends and evenings so if there is a large player base brought in with the next DLC I fear it's going to be much worse. My opinion, the server farm is stressed as it happens mostly when the player population is high. They really need to sink more into server resources I think.

Well, since I love posting the stats on my rig too, I will, but this is mostly to agree with the OP and to complain vehemently about the load screens. I am an ESO plus member (in fact an uninterrupted subscriber since prelaunch) and I am probably the most patient person one could imagine, but this long loading screen issue is REALLY affecting my enjoyment of the game.

Intel i7-4770k processor at 3.5GHz
32 GB RAM
Geforce GTX Titan GPU
ASUS Maximus VI Gene motherboard
Windows 10
(2) 500 GB Samsung SSDs (1) 120GB Samsung SSD
Also, drivers up to date, no issues with my system like the OP

ZOS you know about the problem. So tell us, what is the problem? Why are you risking your subscriber base with this issue?

This is terrifying.

They just updated and did maintenance and still no fix.

Looks like another week of long load screens, unrendered earth, and silhouette bodies. Not to mention still being hurled 5,000 feet in the air to fall to my death. Fun!

I, like you and apparently hundred of others, am getting the same problems. What pisses me off is that it's not the first time and had the same crap happening 3 weeks ago. After having put 100$ in Imperial edition and not being able to play on week 2 I rage quit and reloaded WoW only to find the problem going away by itself 2 days later. I thought it was gone for good only to see it happen again 3 days ago.

The ultimate worst part is that response from ZOS is generic horse dung like "check antivirus" or "port mapping" or, my favorite, "did you update your video drivers" (as if we are ***). This only shows they don't really know what the issue is and don't really have a fix and the absence of a satisfying response or a time frame for resolution just compounds frustrations. I'm sorry I just paid 3 months Plus sub fee because now I just can't have fun playing.

Come to think of it, I'll ask those day to be extended or refunded.

I'm already using a 1 TB solid state drive though maybe 64 bit would help. I highly doubt it though. It's worked for over a year as 32. It's super frustrating.
