Tomorrow, October 20th, we will be bringing all North American megaservers offline for datacenter maintenance starting at 5:00AM EDT. This includes PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PTS. We expect this maintenance to last a few hours, and will let you know as soon as it’s complete.
This is some kind of routine maintenance for the servers, not a game patch/etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they're upgrading their hardware. You know, from a hamster in a wheel to 3 chipmunks on a treadmill. ;D

Goes back to saying that just because you checked it doesn't mean it's not going to happen. Just because it was set on different time, doesn't mean that they are not allowed to do it. You read the TOS, you agreed to it . Maybe they updated the notice right after you checked it. And it's not a patch, it's a maintenance. Get your facts straight

It doesn't say that there won't be any maintenance over the rest of the week, and the message there was clearly incomplete because it hadn't included the standard weekly XB1 and PS4 maintenances.
