I took it off for now anyway. Replaced it with Entropy for now...

There is another speed bug with Eclipse. I apologize, I forgot what skill was causing it.
It was a DK, but without Talons. I will ask him today, maybe he remembers and then I edit it.

Caltrops :') ... Basically reflected AoE Roots / AoE Snares seem to cause it. Eruption does not cause it though.
The same happens at Grobull in Veteran Darkshade Caverns. Another funny thing is when you charge that boss the first time you will get CC immunity and when you then charge on him again the boss will actually charge to you.

Agreed. Additionally, a DK can spam Reflective Scales but a Templar has to wait for CC immunity to end to cast Eclipse? Sounds fair. What's sad is that I would almost prefer for this skill to be a self-target just to be able to always cast it when I need it. Besides, unlike a reflect where I can activate it while a projectile is being cast or still traveling to me, this skill requires selecting a target before they cast an ability and can immediately be CC-broken. ZOS needs to rework their rework.

If they can't program it properly though I'd love to see them just convert it into 'Templar Dragon Scales'. My confidence in their ability to make this skill decent is really low. On top of all the bugs this ability is treated as a CC and put on CC Immunity. This skill can be purged. This skill can apply a weak bit of damage at the end (nothing like the npc version). If its is going to have a damage component I think it should be a DoT that can proc burning light or something. This would allow players to purge it like many other skills, including Cloak, purge or cleansing ritual. The added benefit to this is that it would help the DPS of a magic templar such that the laser beam is less necessary. Additionally, if it can only hit one target it should NOT be part of any CC - whoever made that change ought to be sent to the mail room or something. I can live with the fact that it can apply to only one target only if the cost is greatly reduced and if it can not be cc broken (even by npc bosses). Give npc's the ability to purge, get rid of the cc nonsense, and voila they solve the problem. Its a single target ability for goodness sake, don't they realize that if we have to hunt and pick targets to fire at it (and most of them are immune) that it means you're doing 0 dps? This skill, heart and soul, should have been treated as a counter to Scales/Posture and itself countered by any purges.
