    NA server from Arkansas. Most the time my ping is just a little over 100 ms. If I'm in a area with not many people or much going on it can go below that.

    I get between 60 - 150. I will get spikes into the 1000s at times. I also get a sense of sluggishness with commands in battle... Weapon Swap is the worst, though I have had various other abilities freeze on me as well from time to time...

    That's OK, I have lived with that for every single MMO I have played except for when SWTOR actually had Oceanic servers (Oh what a dream, 15 ms Ping, PVP FTW!)

    However, what frustrates the hell out of me is the lag; Weapon swap fail, skills not firing etc. Beta and pre-launch was OK other than the occasional lag spike, launch - Update 3 - Terribad. Then with Update 3, almost no lag and a total dream. Then Update 4 brought it all back with a vengeance. I re-tweaked my Usersettings file and tried everything to no avail.(Gee, thanks ZOS for deleting that one, and the backup one I had in the same folder!)

    Update 5 came, and I had 5 days of almost no lag again - Yay! Until the weekend, then it slowly returned and has stayed since, and I am not alone.

    Most of my friends and many guildies left months ago, mainly due to lag and broken patches. I am hanging on by my fingernails, but only because I love this game - when it works, and can see its potential for awesomeness, and really am not interested in playing anything else.

    It is a dream I have, that one day this game may work as intended.

    OK, back to my alt. With the current XP/VP debacle my Vets are parked indefinitely.

    TL:DR. The latency I can live with, it's the lag monster that is killing me - literally! (at least 8/10 deaths are Lag related deaths).

    In Cyrodiil, it can go from 100 to 400+ during peak hours. So many undeserved death because of it, curse you latency.

    Germany on EU server. I usually am around 20ms in every online game I'm playing. 100-150ms makes me really sad, and I've no clue why it's so high :(

    0 - 100 ms in open world. At peak hours, not only in cyro up to 999+, enklave of the undaunted at gram, for example. Just staying there without any kind of movement or doing something, suddenly it moves up to 999+.

    During the dailies of the undaunted, often 300 - 600ms.

    NA-Seattle. It idles at about 130-140 in cities or standing around. Outside of that it is all over the place.

    Edit: Today it seems to be around 75-150 idle.

    I'm in Indiana using time Warner and the highest I've hit is 250.

    I've only lagged maybe a dozen times since Beta

    I get about 90-120 typically. Occasionally I'll get a spike of 400ms but not consistently. I'm in Eastern US on NA server
    And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

    OK, as i can see the most of you have pretty decent and acceptable pings and australia/new zealand have some problems as well as european clients connecting to the NA server.

    Maybe some of you smart people can give some advice to those poor people (me too) how to reduce the ping times (hopefully drastically)

    You can't reduce distance pings. Minimum pings are limited by distance. It's simply how long data takes to travel down a cable. Then on top of that you get various points that slow the data transmission down further.

    Read this on latency.

    UK on PC EU server. I don't normally have any reason to check latency, but read this and logged in to see what it was doing. Ran around a few outdoor zones and towns including a busy bank and the latency remained pretty constant between 65 and 100. I don't do PvP or group dungeons but doubtless it would go up a bit then.

    Varies between 70 ms and 200 ms so I chose the latency I find myself most often in: 115 ms.
    I live on the East Coast of the U.S. connecting to the NA megaserver.

    Mine is usually between 50 and 100 ms, which is kinda crazy considering I live a whole 45 minute drive away from the datacentre and other games I live 2 - 3 countries away from the datacentre and only have 37 ms :/.

    Why on earth would you connect to the American datacentre? The EU datacentre is much closer.

    Makes no sense either since the datacentre is in Frankfurt.
