New to pvp

Hi everyone im new to ESO online im a level twelve dark elf sorcerer, Ebonhart pact i was just wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers on PvP its advantages, disadvantages an whether its worth it as im such a low level, if anyone could help me that would be great

I'd say probably level your character since there's 2 tiers of pvp: Lvl 49 and below, and then any level.

The advantage of pvp is it's fun. A disadvantage would be that it can be frustrating...or were you looking for tips?

Anything really like, is it better to be in a group whilst doing it, what do you gain from it stuff like that

You definitely want to be in a group if you don't know what you're doing yet. And if no on invites you to one, just follow people or follow the action on the map involving your alliance!

And one more thing.

Beyond just being in a group you need to have somewhat of an idea on whether you're going to be a more supportive player (usually healers and tanks) or a more offensive character (magicka and stamina DPS). The examples aren't exactly rigid, for example a tank could be wielding a two-handed mace and wreak havoc on enemies close range or a stamina DPS could be a swift scout-like archer providing recon and stealth takedowns.

When ever my toons hit lvl 10 I immediately jump right on in to Cyrodiil (Azura Star) and only leave when I want to lvl up fast. Since youre a new player and even newer to Cyrodiil heres a few tips.

1. Ranged weapons (that include siege) are your best friend low lvl players are easily picked off by vets in close courters
2. Groups are everywhere if you can join one they will watch your back and rez you when you die
3. If you're in a group stay on crown and follow their order if you don't they can and will kick you from group
4. After a fight, when ever you kill a player, defend an area you will earn AP and some times rewards
5. Completing an alliance war quest you will gain gold, EXP, alliance rank, and AP
6. AP (alliance points) can be spent on new gear, siege weapons, grand soul gems(try to have a few on you at all times), food, drink, potions, etc.
7. WATCH OUT FOR THE ZERGS!!! I cant stress this enough zergs are a mass of players are rushing to one area if you get caught by one well your grave is where you're standing
8. If one of your keeps, outposts, or resources are getting hit by siege call or you see a zerg running in the direction of one of your captured areas call out in zone chat which direction they are headed, number of enemy players, and where they are coming from

PvP is going to be a new monster to you but when you kill your first enemy player, defend your first keep, take your first enemy keep you will love it and only want to fight more. Best of luck and ill look for you on the battlefield.
