So what did the twitch live stream go over? I don't watch anymore since usually it's a place that showcases the new DLC or crown store purchases and nothing "important".

But now the PVP majority says IC was actually a PvE update with PVP tacked on so they are frustrated with the implementation.

This is players in general these days. Please don't try to pass it off as only PvP players acting this way.

TBH this community is the most toxic and disgusting I think I have ever been in. That's not to say everyone is that way, but it's not the kind of community I would want to listen to or respect as a developer. The more we start to ignore, this kind of behaviour seen and give ZOS better constructive feedback the better the community will become.

ZOS should also start learning to use their admin powers and take a stand against this kind of stuff, when you have threads literally calling for developers to be fired some people shouldn't have a voice on the forums any more.

    @ZOS_RichLambert

I created a Twitch account and upgraded it to Turbo for the sole purpose of watching my first ESO live. Consider me dissapointed. We had about 15 minutes of rehashing topics that were already known and understood by most of active players and the rest of the segment was devoted to Osrinium artwork.

There was practically zero interacting between ZoS and the community watching the stream and you could see a rapid dropoff of users from 1250 to 700 after 30 minutes of artwork shots. I talked to and listened to a ton of players who mentioned the podcast afterward and they were universally disappointed, many of them even angry.

I've got no problem with the art team (They're the reason ESO is one of the best looking RPGs out there) and showing their work, but that at most is going to keep people entertained for 15-20 minutes. Most people who are watching the Twitch stream have a lot of questions and are interested in the future of the game and the direction it is headed. The only piece of information that we learned in that stream that I recall was the seasonal cap is probably going to be every quarter and will raise the CP cap by ~200 points or so. Beyond that, everything was old news and fluff.

I think if ZoS doesn't have significant content to publish for a podcast in the future, they should just not do the podcast. People will not mind. But it is clear from watching this podcast that it was just thrown together last minute (and evidenced by the art guy getting last minute permission from his wife to appear on the show). I hope you guys can improve on this in the future, there may have been other circumstances for the odd time and such that I'm unaware of that threw you off your game...

The stuff in bold, I really couldn't agree more. Seriously, I can't.. it's only possible to click Agree once or it unselects it. Sorry.

I usually don't bother with the live stream, and just wait until it hits YouTube so I can flick past all the general chit-chat and get straight to the hot topics, the answers to the important questions, but alas they are not always there.
Like @Ezareth says, if you don't have anything useful to share, simply forego the podcast until you do. We'd rather spend our precious time listening to the matters that are important to us and mould the future of this game instead of useless banter. I really appreciate what you guys are doing, I think most of us do, but if you could involve the community in more than just artwork and a few basic questions no one really cares about, that'd be great. An example of excellent information was Eric's shoutout to Shield Breaker. We now know that isn't going any where, it's working as intended, and he even gave a few ways to work around it. It was an important subject that was brought up a lot and you actually shed some light on it. We want more of this stuff!

I've watched almost all of the ESO live shows and It has never been a Q and A session from the chat board. Most of the questions the people ask in the chat board have already been answered. They are NOT working on a PVP arena, said so quite a few shows ago. You don't have to watch it live and you don't have to have Twitch Turbo.

@Ezareth : I watched the podcast and found it very interesting from beginning to end (apart from the giveaways).

So please to not say "we" or "us" when you should say "I" because it's just your opinion and yours alone.

No, people want to be obeyed.

They've been heard. They've been answered. With a "no, not now".
They're just not happy with the answer and think getting noisier will change that but it won't.

It is forum issue because some people actually like ESO Live, and the content it offers, and don't appreciate people being rude with chat spam. I don't have to agree or disagree with that view to acknowledge it and appreciate why some folks find rude and insulting chat comments frustrating or annoying.

Not sure how wishing for people to be reasonable or polite is an attempt to silence dissent and bend people's wills, but, OK. Keep fighting that fight for freedom from oppression. On a chat stream. About a video game.

It's not the "we want PvP arena" spamming in chat per se. Even if it sounded very childish and I felt ashamed of our community.

It's because of all the insults that were around it.

Senior art designer was showing and explaining excellent stuff about the creation of Orsinium for instance and all those kids in chat were there with "stop the nonsense, we don't care, just shut up, we want pvp arena".
