Absolutely this. 1v1 or even 1v2 this set is not a problem. Fighting someone with someone poking you from behind a zerg is where this get annoying. Bunch of bads hiding behind more bads using a set for bads.

There's one build I can think of that takes less than 5s to kill someone and it doesn't work on shields and it abuses the camo hunter stealth proc so it's not only a rare build it's an exploit... Invalid point, is invalid.

Welp, you could try this Oneshot Compilation #2 - just for the LOLs and kill four shield breaker wielding opponents before they can get you in five seconds! It is not clear to me how much IQ is required to make it go though

Wait, five players with SB are able to kill you in five seconds each, so 5SB/5s is one second to kill you from five SB wielding players and you would only be able to kill one player per shot, so you could only kill about one SB wielding player out of five and not four.

Hmm, this is bad. I guess you have to hope that only 20% of opponents have shield breaker.

Or you could get shield breaker and kill players with one shots and one more player per each five seconds. Which equates to... let's see:

1 kill per second from OP build/gear/CP/whatevs
plus
1 kill per five seconds from shield breaker

Wow, after one minute you could kill seventy-two players with a one shot build and shield breaker. Shield breaker is OP.

Well, as new sets are introduced maybe we will see less people running the sets? I personally think the set should have been given to magicka builds as annulment does not affect stamina builds.

Don't say that, harness magicka confuses and infuriates stam builds - I mean, they keep hitting you, but your health bar still displays "shield" strength on it, no matter how hard they hit.

If you bought a set that requires no skill to use and is pure cheese, then no, you deserve to lose your TV stones. Shieldbreaker is one the things that dumbed down PvP on this patch and contributed to the zerg god mode, i have no sympathy for anyone who involved themselves in that.

at any rate. the same could be said for all those (like myself) who spent a good deal of time farming dungeons to get their V14 armor sets and upgraded them to gold only to have this patch not even scale those sets to V16. deal with it.

Doesn't matter, it isn't going anywhere. This is their answer to pvp shield stacking without affecting the pvers. I don't think they have very many options with this otherwise. There was so much whining going on about the stacking that they basically had to do something.

Want to complain about shield stacking now? L2P and get shield breaker is the answer. That is basically what I gathered from Eric. He did mention that the next sets would be less polarizing.... but not sure if he was talking about another type of shield breaker set?

I won't argue that this set is not cheap. But, if God wills it, I will use this set to kill every one of you sons of *******

BTW, does anyone know if this set procs of the shields the NPCs get at resources when you hit them with siege?
