Hardest was stamina NB, but that was pre vet points

Stamina NB. Check. No Vet points. Check.

    UPDATE:

So I finally did this at level 25 at the cost of about 14 lesser soul gems. Honestly, it was still fun, and I was able to solo all the bosses but one: Rork Bonehammer, the gobin with the firebreathing/lava whip capabilities. If you can't get out of the way, then he hits you for like 2.4k damage.

One response might be: well, block it, Riza! But you know I'm going to say, right? Zeni has nerfed blocking and dodging to the point that if you're playing a stamina nighblade, you eventually have to choose between using your skills and blocking. And if you can't block this guy, then he snags a third of your health in one freakin hit. (Yes, I was using stamina food buffs.)

The person who ended up helping me noted that without a healing skill (DW/Bow NB), it would be really hard to beat this boss.

The rest of the bosses were pretty doable (after I followed the advice I was given). Lughar (the animal thingy) was the next hardest, again because its bites do a lot of damage but you can only block so many before you're done with stamina.

I finished the group boss with 100% health. Seriously. It was the easiest group boss I've ever fought.

    EPILOGUE:

So, first ... a shout out of thanks to @daemonios and @UrQuan and everyone else who helped me improve my game. I did do a respec and dumped a lot of crafting points. I boosted some skills and morphed some skills. I also picked up a couple of AoE skills I didn't have.

I also leveled up my armor and weapons (which were at 16 and I crafted them to level 24). I followed @daemonios' tip and grabbed some food buffs before going in.

Honestly though, this entire experience made me think about game difficulty and how games are made. I encountered an experience that was difficult in the game, even very challenging. I asked for help and some people here on the forum gave me some tips that helped me get past this but also improve my overall game. I'm a better player today than I was two days ago. Sure, I died a lot over the last couple of days. And that kind of sucked. But I eventually got the dungeon and most of the bosses on my own, and now I have this sense of accomplishment.

And no skills, attributes, classes, dungeons, bosses, mobs, or gameplay was nerfed in the process. None. Zippo. Nada.

A hard challenge isn't a bad thing. And just because one player can't beat another player or a boss or clear a dungeon doesn't mean that something needs to be nerfed. Sometimes the player just needs to learn to play better. I can say that because I had to learn to play better. And I did.

So note to Zenimax: Stop nerfing!! Sometime it's okay to just offer solutions to players and not change anything. Really.

Woo hoo! I freaking love that this was the outcome for you! And when I say that, I mean I love all of it - I love that you found something that was difficult for you, came to the forums to talk about it (not to whine about it, mind you), people were helpful and gave you advice, you took that advice, learned from it, applied whatever parts of it you found relevant, overcame the challenge, and ended up with a sense of accomplishment from it! And that is how things like this should go. Glad it worked out!

Hmm, I've soloed Bonesnap on all of my characters who have gone through Auridon. I didn't particularly find it to be any harder than the other public dungeons. Like the other public dungeons, though, it's a lot easier to do if you've got some decent AOE damage output and some self-heals.

Mind you, the first time I did Bonesnap, shortly after launch when I didn't yet understand the difference between a public dungeon and a delve... Oh man, it gave me fits back then.

I have to agree about the design of Bonesnap. That one grand chamber is pretty damn cool.

I remember trying to solo Spindle Clutch during the beta and didn't understand the concept of "group dungeon". I just thought it meant there would be other people in there. Needless to say, a half hour later I ended up quitting the beta. It probably would've helped if I had understood the game at that time and didn't have most of my points into the bow skill line and using a resto staff.

Oh man, very shortly after launch I also tried to solo Spindleclutch... Just like you, I didn't understand the concept of a group dungeon. I couldn't understand why I kept on getting stomped so badly in the first fight by all those spider mobs... I mean, I was a level or two higher than they were (there was no scaling of group dungeons yet), and I had never had any real trouble with mobs before - only with a few bosses. It probably didn't help that I was using sword & board exclusively at that time with full heavy armour, and hadn't yet figured out that a setup like that really isn't very good for getting solid damage output. After probably half a dozen deaths I gave up and decided to come back when I was higher level (it took me fewer times trying and dying to give up on Spindleclutch than it did to give up on Doshia back then).

When I finally found out that Spindleclutch was a group dungeon and you were supposed to do it with 4 people... Yeah, I facepalmed pretty hard.
