Are you one of those people who were sad about what happened to Darien Gautier after Coldharbour?

    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    I am so glad that Darien survived!!!!

    Now, we have to find a way to save him!

    Thank you ZOS for keeping my favorite NPC in the entire game alive. He's alive (said in a frankenstien voice)....ALIVE....mohahahaha.

    If you talk to him at the beginning of the final assault on Coldharbour right after you go through the portal, he mentions then that his recurring dream always ends with him being in a room full of white light - for that reason I always assumed that he was sucked into Meridia's realm rather than dying at the end... glad to have confirmation of that!

    Please, please Zeni - quest to rescue him and return him home would make so many people very happy!

    To be honest this brings to mind that whole topic about the half-life of a spoiler. It's been a year and a half since the game was launched. Even console players should have cleared Coldharbour by now and I do believe Darien Gautier is only a character in Coldharbour if you are from the Daggerfall Covenant, or am I wrong in that assumption? Either way, I didn't think people would mind and looking at the comments so far more people are here because they were interested in the fate of Darien as much as I. But I will oblige of course :p

I won't spoil it, but just make sure to speak to everyone when you finish the last main quest in Orsinium, you will know this one is important to speak to :)

    This is in the PTS forum, but if you read this from the Recent view, it looks like the SPOILER is for the original main quest, not the Orsinium quest. I don't mind, myself, but you might want to make the title a little more explicit.
