Werewolf Bite Bug (Multiple Devour Active Effects, cannot get Sanies Lupinus)

Here's the problem: me and @Glaiceana were bitten by a WW friend, we were using a lvl 10 chars in DC.
Better to say that we weren't bitten correctly. We didn't fall to the ground and didn't get the Sanies Lupinus.We just got our skin bathed in blood and multiple "Devour" effects on the character screen.
Our friend told us that this may never disappear and could be permanently bugged on our character now, as it happened on his old character (a low level too).
Lots of level 10 people get bitten every day, so what happened to us? Would be irritating to delete our chars, so please someone solve this problem.

SilentRaven1972✭✭✭✭Let something kill you, that will remove the "devour". When being bitten, after fix, remove all armor, costumes, weapons, etc., just to be safe. I had this happen to a lvl 12 NB. I've tested this as well. No need to remove armor just remove devour and boom it works.XBOX ONE
