Magnus Set Not Getting It's 4x Bonus

I'm not sure if this issue is just with Magnus, but you can see from this image with a seducer resto staff in my hand (and no other seducer items worn), my spell damage is 2262 (a bit obscured by the info box). Swapping to the destro staff giving me a 4 piece Magnus actually drops my damage by 15 points rather then increasing it by 126 bringing it to 2388 which is where it is on live.

Update: Hmm.. maybe it's nothing? All of a sudden (with no skill or gear changes) the numbers are all correct again and the set bonus is indeed being applied. Maybe it's cosmetic number stuff glitching... who knows, but at least I'm happy to see the right numbers again.

I'll post here if I see anything that reproduces it.

Could be influenced by the skills you have on your bar, or a buff running out just at the time.
Are you a Sorcerer perchance?

Did some initial tests and I also noticed that my second weapon increased my Magicka Recovery by 52, my Health Recovery by 30 and my Stamina Recovery by 51. No matter if it was my Magnus test set, my non-set staff, or my Twilights Embrace Resto staff.

One thing I did notice though is that the level and the quality of the staff increased my spell damage. However you are seeing the OPPOSITE happen with your staff (The higher level yellow staff should = more spell damage) so I wonder if perhaps your lower level staff is being battle leveled accidentally, even though you are V16.

Good point, but I'm positive that I was using my standard PVE build and gear with no buffs except food. For sure you can see in the pics that the damage was dropping when swapping to the higher level weapon with more spell damage. No buff/debuff would do that. Glitch!

This will be resolved in a future PTS patch.

Did you actually test the damage and not just the character sheet?

This is indeed likely what was happening. Albeit intermittent as I've not seen it come up again. Damage stats seemed similar when the issue was happening as when the issue was "resolved" and the numbers looked right again. Thanks for that.
