Agree templars are OP but do lack a good CC, but if they also had CC's they would be near impossible to beat.
As for yourself, spamming bombard on one person was a waist. The morph venom arrow with fear would have made everyone's job much easier. Negate or two a few sorc's spamming crushing shock to silence, Venom Arrow, Mass hist... is your best help vs templars. Bombard is better to slow a zerg to keep your steel tornado and aoe spammers locked down while your group ultimate bombs them. Or as i like to do cloak behind the large zerg and bombard the back half of the pack, this often separates the healers from the DPS a little. So the main group can nuke them while there healers are spamming break free etc. Spamming your bombard also is of use only for the first root. after that they get a CC immunity for a few seconds unlike in a zerg situation where the pin down will ignore the ones all ready rooted in place and hit other members of the party., so spamming it 5 times is a waist of time and a waist of your resource pool if its just a single target player.
I was not trying to be a D^&k to you pointing this out. But i thought it needed mentioning as some potential help in the future when encountering dreaded templar / healer.

Maybe he still has both WW and Vamp
I am still amazed by that mitigation, could yet not figure out how to do it

Thats what it all boils down to, though, isnt it. The whole last year talking about the guy, analyzing, the threads, the threats, the bans, the whole mess.
"I wanna do it toooo" because thats the culture of ESO, identify I-win, abuse liberally until fixed for personal gain.
Makes me sick.

Now watch the video again and tell me that the *** of people around him didn't at least make the above 4 points justifiable. For further proof, note at the beginning that the 3 of you against him managed to get his health down relatively easily. More people showing up was like a double-edged sword. On one hand, you've got more damage against him. On the other, he gets more damage mitigation and heals.

Telel is first going to point out that they themself never said that what is being done is not possible. In fact this one will point out they have taken great pains to remove obnoxious accusations from the clip so as to provide the clearest most unbiased look at this 'creative skill use'.
They're also going to point out they're the one standing well back making sure the target is stuck in place and well out of jabby jab range.
It's as if someone knew about some stuff and was working to avoid it.
But in the interest of being fair minded and other potentially improbable mindsets they are of course going to point out that if this is the thing you say is that thing about this thing then you can take your things and make that thing this right?
Because if some thing was a thing that that was not that other thing we're not allowed to get to loud about discussing then it can be reproduced. If it can not then a thing is its own thing instead of being that thing which is a thing some wish they could have.

If you have spent the amount of time you consumed to write this post, to actually understand the real mechanics behind of those skills and understand how they work, you could have understand the thing you saw in this video is not possible in any "normal" way. Other than that, I don't think anyone have time to explain and enlighten you about this issue.savingryansprvt wrote: »Then? Care to enlighten me? Yes.
I'm a Stamplar so I can't exactly do this (I wish I could though!), but I've had my fair share of fights against Mageplars who absolutely refuse to go down just as well.

If that is all true, and this is not a build requiring one be a script kiddy, then this thread's original title is most apt.
Anyone whinging about how invisibility or short range teleports make one class to cool for school really should give serious pause to their musings. After all, not being seen or fleeing faster most definitely doesn't let one be a one man bulwark.
However until someone with real skill and who doesn't want to be associated with more odious types can provide a detailed explanation (complete with proof of how it's done) one is just going to have to deal with whining about the E word.
Let us keep our words civil and khajiit folks. Don't want to give 'those guys' an excuse to shut this thread down.
After all this is to celebrate and display the strength of a class so many have considered weak when compared to the OP sorceror and night blades with their much envied skills at...running away instead of surviving and killing things.
