I don't think there's any other motive in play here. I just think their support service is genuinely atrocious. There's a whole host of other topics on their support pages saying the same thing. I'd really hate to be on the PS4 and have this happen because Sony support is every bit as atrocious as the support here.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I won't ever buy any more crowns (so won't be buying the upcoming dlc I wanted and still want to an extent), not because I'm making a point, but because if anything goes wrong, ZoS will do nothing. I simply wouldn't go through this again. Not worth the hassle.

After my somewhat negative post about this subject. I would like to say that ZOS has resolved the issue with my account and in the response they added they were currently working with MS to keep this from happening in the future.

So hopefully things will get worked out and we won't have to worry about this down the road.
I want to change the world. I'm just to lazy to do it.

Maybe they are doing it on purpose so you have to BUY crowns.

We are buying crowns, part of the the description for eso+ is 1500 crowns monthly. They received the money, I only received part of the service I paid for.

I correct myself, It's like buying a car with no windows, even though advertised with Windows, and then after calling the dealership over and over they say "Swing by the shop and we'll give you the window installation kit, but you must install it".

Actually it's like buying a car...finding out it was a problem with the power windows. Calling and setting an appointment but never bringing the car to the shop for an appointment. Make the ticket and talk to support to get it fixed then move on.

Just FYI for those with these issues, and even more for those that don't. I sent my e-mail response to the CSR along with my cancellation screenshot, and they got back with me, and here are the exact copies of the two:

    Mine:
"Thank you for repeating the exact same process as I had to go through last month, which took me 3 weeks to get the 1500 crowns I paid for, and now will take the same amount. This is due to horrible records keeping on your company's part, horrible customer service, and horrible communications between your customer service, Zenimax, and Microsoft. A serious lack of empathy and taking customers for granted does not help the situation. Between ESO Plus, and seeing how Zenimax is abusing customers through the crown store (making glass motif next to impossible to gain, and cost more than 95% of the players have, then throwing it on the store for 5000, while not giving players the 1500 they should be getting per month so they could buy those things without spending MORE money). Here is the screenshot showing that I did indeed have ESO Plus, up until having to deal with this situation again, may you lose every ounce of support from every customer. Have a good day, and if anyone proposes a class action suit, I will gladly join it."

    Their response:
    Greetings,

Thank you for contacting us in regards to this matter with your missing crowns.

I am sorry to report that the photo that you have enclosed does not contain the information that we have requested in order to investigate your missing crowns. Please provide us with the information requested so that we can complete our investigation and restoration for your missing crowns.

Here again are the directions on how to pull up the requested information:

When we ask for proof of purchase, we require a receipt, invoice, or screenshot showing the product transaction. The proof of purchase must include the product name, the date of purchase, the purchase amount, and, in the case of a digital purchase, the identity of the purchaser as detailed below."

It continues after that, but, as seen here, their response is completely ignorant of all that I said, disregarding all of it. This looks like a standardized computer response form, that if the system does not see the necessary information, it automatically responds with that form.

Just figured you guys might want to see the kind of detached, formulated, non-empathetic responses we're getting, and WHY it takes that long to get anything done. They don't even read the e-mail, obviously, because I sent a cancellation, and they reply with, 'not what we need, if you want crowns, then send us the right info' may as well have said, 'Syntax Error'.

Unless I'm missing something obvious, they also ask for your xbox gamer tag to be clearly displayed. Every time I used the link that ZoS provided to show proof of purchase, it directed me to my MS billing screen, which did show the proof of purchase, but not the gamer tag. It showed my MS account name. I went through LIVE myself to check and it seems MS have changed their billing page and it no longer shows your gamertag, just your MS account name and your email.

So unless i really am missing something, ZoS need to change the "clearly display your gamertag" statement. Email and purchase of proof should be enough, especially if it's the same email address you used to register the game on LIVE.

Just to let you know, I still haven't had a response from them and that's been nearly 2 weeks. I'd be fuming had it not been for the fact I've received a refund from MS and it's all done and dusted.

Once they get their Crown distribution corrected I would like to see the subs that are more than 30 days be distributed at 30 day intervals. getting all the Crowns at once is a deterrent for me. If the 1500 Crowns were given to us every month automatically then I think I'd be more apt to re-sub.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

I'm thinking it's easier to buy the crowns and take the hit on the boosted xp just so I have something to show for my cash. 4 months of not receiving my crowns. Last 2 I didn't even bother contacting em. Spoils the game.

Are you telling me that you are still subbing?

Same. I contacted Z customer service last month and they said everything looked good, that I had received my crowns. Which I didn't, but that just made me realize there's a disconnect between the information Z has from Xbox. It's totally a Xbox issue in my opinion. Even tho I sub monthly, they only credit me quarterly it seems.

I've since taken it up with Xbox and I hope I will see better customer care. In the end, however? Xbox needs to provide up-to-date information to Z regarding subscription accounts. Contacting them leads nowhere as they think X has done their job.

It's bad....I stopped subbing months ago due to this.

I tried again April 28th.....no crowns. Had to open a ticket to get my crowns but I'm not subbing anymore.

I only tried it due to them saying it was fixed, but that was a lie

I did not want to make a new thread. Since the fiasco in the summer on XBoc Onr with a large proportion of paying members not being flagged as active and having been advised to cancel my membership and reapply to fix the issue, which it did not, I have now NOT been receiving my crown allocation. It is now three months and I am owed 4500 crowns. Any suggestions on where I might send a complaint to, as the help desk does not seem to be able to rectify this issue?

It's funny that i've found something from 2015 and now, in 2017 I'm having the exact same problem. Paid an ESO Plus and my crowns has not been "deposited" in my Crown Store.
