Feedback: Master Destro Staff is Lame

Why not make it interesting, and make it a Prismatic Destro Staff? Have it switch spell type every 4 seconds, in line with the new Elemental Succession set. That way you'd get a big bonus on the already weak Destro spells (force shock being unaffected by the staff type and only affected by elemental succession on one element at a time still), and a big bonus some of the time to class skills that match if you have any. I'm not sure if this is actually possible, but I think it'd be pretty fun to play with.

    Might as well make it a fire dot for all of the vampires too, or better yet a dot that goes through shields :trollface:

    if wall of elements was atleast a long duration "dot"(like ash cloud or scorched earth etc.) it could be worth it, but with its short duration no one is even using wall of elements.
    spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

    Not sure anyone has tested it yet, but I think it would just do the extra damage on the final pulse.

    It doesn't matter how it works exactly... Its merely 300something damage.
    It won't make using WoE worthwhile.
    The ability is abysmal if you compare it with lightning splash or even thundering presence...
    The Staff needs a major bufg to turn this ability into something one can even consider using.

    @Teargrants, aside from the fire staff suggestion and the shock stun they do those already, albeit at a low chance. Frost WoE gained the ability to automatically root chilled targets on top of its snare. Wouldn't hurt if they were common enough to be a hazard.

    That's the thing, just go ahead and make root a base part of frost wall rather than a rng proc. Otherwise why use it for CC as a mag build? Sorc has encase, DK has talons, Temp has shards, NB has fear.

    Cinder storm doesn't have miss chance. By God I wish it still did...

    But yes, please rethink master destroy. Maybe make it allow 2x WoE down at once?

    How about a dot that does 14k and cannot be removed by purge or dark cloak, and does tripple damge if someone tries to remove it with DC or a self-purge or cleanse synergy? :blush:

    Shards only affects one target though, for some really stupid reason. It's probably the easiest of any of those to actually avoid as well since the time from when you start animating the cast to when it hits the ground is probably 2 seconds or something.

    our master staff sucks. change the proc... there is no way im going to burn my magic on an attack that does like no damage, is highly situational, for 300 more light attack damage . it is pathetically weak. That or make the walls duration a lot longer, and make it do a lot more damage. honestly I've tried using this with my spell power sets and it isn't even comparable to thundering presence. infact i'd slot one of ur other unsupported abilities before I'd do anything with this enchantment "unstable familar" atleast it does a constant dot on it's own without costing me magic, and it can detonate whenever I feel like it for damage that is the equivalent to atleast 10 walls.
