For example the 1hd sword that improves low slash by requiring a fully charged heavy attack? How is that an improve of that skill?
Master weapons like that should actually do something with that skill, not have it modify something else.
I agree, but it shouldn't surprise you with their changes to Tri_focus and the like in 2.1. they are trying to push heavy attacks for some reason.
It's kinda fully that they completely remove stamina regen while blocking then introduce sets and weapons to help cope with it for tanking. Oh wait no it isn't. Well someone else mentioned as (I think) joke, ZOS is trying to introduce more stuff to light/heavy attack so we use less abilities -> fix lag in pvp
I start thinking this could be the real reason behind that^^

All the new master weapons besides 2 handed sword are pretty bad. Bad functionality and poor effect.
Bow could be interesting, but damage might be a bit low. Some people already told me, they will take it for pve dps. But I think it needs a buff. And staves of course.... they are the biggest dissapointment.
The sword is mediocore.
Yeap, only 2 hander is good.. They balanced it around pvp as well... 14k is pve damage, in pvp it's 7k before anything is taken into account and that's really not that overpowered.
Oh yes, it is really overpowered and each tick can crit.
7k - 10k damage over 5 seconds simply by using a gap closer that is strong anyway, is way too much. This combined with wrecking blow spam will simply anihilate most people withing seconds. This can't be balanced.
