Food & drink are still not scaling with CP.

I know @ZOS_GinaBruno is aware of drinks, but food is also not scaling with CP. It's the first thing I tested when I logged into the PTS. I'm sure they're working on it but I did want to bring it up again since it's not fixed yet. It's a pretty big deal.

Well i'm prety sure food and drinke never were afected by CP and raccial passivs maybe also my armor never tested that one, for me it quite simple that food and drinks shud provide you flat bonus and shud not be affected by other buffs

Once again they have always scaled with CP, and 1.7 introduced this confirmed bug. I'm not really interested in how you think it "shud" be tbh. This is a bug thread on the PTS forum.

I have never heard of food/drink buffs being intended to scale with CP. Doesn't that kinda seem ridiculous?

Are you sure you don't mean scaling with battle leveling?

    /facepalm

Drinks used to be affected by regen stars. Food used to be affected simply by having CP, because simply spending cp gives you a percentage bonus to your attributes for each constellation. This is common knowledge among PC players.

Stay calm Xeven, im with you now. :D

Yes, it is a bug and yes it has to be fixed. Especially because all Stamina players have to go back to reg builds with the cp cap coming up.

i did a quick tests on pts and seems that stat food buff is afected by raccial, class and armor passive, but you don't get extra stats from Champion System by inreasing you stat pool with food, howeawer you do get more stats from Champion System by increasing you stat pool via armor glyphs.

So now i see that you are right, sorry. Forum threads without any proofs and strong math make me to be sceptical to the information they provide.

It is alittle concerning. I dont actually feel like were getting stronger. We level up, but so does the cost of our abilities and our regen just keeps getting worse.

So to be sure I'm on the right lines:
    • Food scales with Max Attribute value
    • CPs increase Max Attribute value
    • Food is not registering the CP increase to Max Attribute value
    Is this the problem?

CP put into regen, does not increase the regen you get from drinks. The hp(stat) you get from food, are not increased by the % you get from having spent cp.

    Isnt that it?

Spending points in The Mage will grant you a percent bonus to the max magicka you already have, including set bonuses, glyphs, and until recently, food. The same goes for The Warrior (health) and The Thief (stamina). Spending points in the regen stars (Mooncalf & Magician iirc) will grant you a percent bonus to the regen you already have, including set bonuses, glyphs, and until recently, drinks.

Right, so the sets and glyphs are correctly accounting for the increase in max attributes from CP, and the food/drink isn't.

I thought this was intended and not a bug, food and drink never scaled with other % increases yet. At least from 1.6 up

In 1.6 food and drink were affected by champion points though.
