The Orsinium DLC

Personally the biggest thing for me in the whole update is Group Finder improvment and thats not solo thing. I think that will be huge if they make it right. Finally.

I actually appreaciate the solo focus of Orsinium, because Craglorn is such a huge fail and nobody is playing there. If this is solo at least I know I will be able to enjoy most of it. The story and stuff.

Ive already said my opinion about CPs in another threads, not gonna repeat myself.

What I dont like is that they didnt upgrade rewards from old content to V16 to give us all more options. Im talking here about DSA loot as well as AP vendors in Cyrodiil. That is something that really needs to happen asap.

cut the crap already, anyone with 401 CPs or more have a permanent lifetime advantage over anyone with 400 or less CPs. this cap thing is 'limited' effect and in about 3-4 caps raises it will deem a bit useless but it'll help majority of players do some catch up, unless ZOS speeds up the CPs gain for anyone below 501 CPs when the next cap goes live

They would have to up the rate at that point so that people aren't waiting weeks before getting their next CP.

Hello Lets nerf our loyla players who come here day in day out and play the game and do content to earn the champions points and lets bring in a system of nerfing everyone cause a few kids in PVP dont like being killed

I'm a loyal player and come here every day (almost) to have fun, earning champion points is just something that happens.

I disagree about the solo-ish content, All we've had in the last year and a half have been dungeons, group zones, and pvp update... so you would skip story driven content for more dungeons? No thanks.

As far as your CP frustrations go, I agree mostly, shoulda just separated CP's from PVP and been done right there.

    Too much solo content!

    Not enough solo content!

    Too much group content!

    Not enough group content!

This is what ZoS has had to put up with since launch. I wish I could keep score of how many say each one. Tally the numbers.

I kinda feel sorry for them at times, because they are trying to appease people who will never be appeased. They should go back to making the game that THEY want.
    You missed this part:

    Too much PVP content!

How is anyone complaining about the only solo content since the game came out? I think its awesome and looks way better than the waste of space IC was

The sky has fallen so many times here...but yet we are still here.

The more options we have the better I say.

Overall the only thing I would change is not having caps on stam/magika/health. Most builds are forced into maxing one to be effective. Diversity here would be nice.

Being able to dip into both Stamina and Magika abilities AND remain effective. I guess this is how it used to be. (im ps4) Any of you PC players have an opinion on this?.. Was having caps better than no caps?

Why wouldn't there be a new solo zone?
The demand is there. With their title and advertising, they attracted no small number of solo players. With that sort of audience it is totally ok (and even expected) for them to create content that is tailored to them.

But it is important to remember that not all of the game is tailored toward them. As it stands, the solo player has had no new endgame content since release. With lower and upper Craglorn they tried to satisfy group PvEers, with the Imperial City they tried to satisfy PvPers, and now they are going to try and satisfy solo PvEers.

Just chill, it is simply our turn in the DLC rotation...your time will come son enough. But I would like to leave on the note that MMO does not necessarily mean "you have to group". It just means that there is more than one player around in the game world (Massively Multi-player). Solo players have just as much of a right to be here as any grouper here.

Dude, literally the best explanation EVER! Your final paragraph is perfect and I couldn't have said it better myself :D

I prefer playing solo mainly in this game, as I am very much a hardcore elder scrolls fan and find most MMO communities to be quite toxic. Try doing a vCOA for the first time via the group finder tool and dying several times because you're still learning the mechanics = quite a lot of abuse thrown at you... -_-

This whole game was a solo zone before they semi-fixed quest phasing.

Again ESO is redefining the Massively Single Player Online Role Playing Game.

What the Group or die Community forgets is the following.

You can always group up and do solo content with your guild, a solo player however must group up to do your content.

    Therefore,

solo content is heavily required, as it´s the only thing that solo and casual gamers can do. To design an MMO without solo content, is a big flaw and the reason why WOW and many other games suffer so much these days.

So far, group content was in almost every single update - to now see solo content coming along, makes a real MMO fan very happy.

Ya know what's really sad? The insane amount of demands everyone puts on ZOS.When I got into this game,I never once thought about the monetary reasons ZOS had for this or that. What add ons for X amount of money,or how they jockey to get new players so they can make more money.Money,money,money.That's all everyone on these forums seem to think of. What does it matter if you dont get more points.Yet all I see is gimme more, more, more. It just seems that this is all people want.More of this or more of that.No caps, want more rewards, dont get enough of what this one wants,or that one wants.
You're all kinda beating your heads into the walls with frustration, when they've given us so much already.A whole lot more than most other MMOs,and more care with lore, looks, and content. If there isnt enough of what you want, just adjust your want list a bit and ease off.Enjoy what you have to play with.
Yeah,I have my own little wish list, but I'm not going bugnutz cos I cant have what I want. Everyone should be old enough here to know you cant always get what you want.
    (just my humble opinion)

Agreed. I think it's fair to criticize updates, but IMO we need to really stop and empathize with ZoS. It's not easy making a game completely balanced, and honestly for myself and the others I play with, every update makes the game better for me. I dont think claming they don't care about dedicated fans is really fair. Just because I dont play every day or for hours each sessions doesn't mean I am not "dedicated".

They are constantly updating the game and trying to improve it for everyone. Maybe not here in the forums, but I can only assume the non-vocal majority of players are happy about these changes.

    Really excited about this DLC!
