Dunmer

I can't believe you guys run sixteen characters. I can't imagine playing as anything other than Dunmer and I didn't enjoy Sorceror (which I got to VR8) or Templar (which I've only got to fifteen). I'm using a VR3 Nightblade right now as a tank and I bloody love it. I can't imagine making but maybe a Dragonknight afterward but it doesn't seem all that appealing to me.

Imperials can be magicka or stamina based and still be a good build also with the 10% health buff that it a game changer in my book.

Khajiit

7 out of 8 of my characters are Khajiit, and the other 1 that isn't a Khajiit is a Redguard bank mule.

Same here. My first was an Imperial, largely for story reasons, and the fact that it fit as a Tank race (They're always known for being armored knights/centurions). It just made sense to me that a soldier who rebelled Mannimarco's coup should be one of the first ones to be killed and shriven up. I went Templar as well for thematic reasons. Templar's Aedric Spear line fits the whole sword/shield style thematically and the fact that Stendarr is the patron of the Imperial Army, justice and mercy seems to fit the theme well.

After him though I've gone on to make at least one of each race and they are all pretty cool. I've usually tried to play characters who fit theme in previous TES games. On Morrowind I played a Dunmer and an Argonian. In Oblivion I played a Breton, and on Skyrim I played a Nord (though I did have a lot of fun with a Redguard build there as well).

Breton

In order of creation: Breton, Khajiit, Argonian, Bosmer, Redguard, Dunmer, Imperial.

Fond of them all. Would re-create though if there more classes added, like:

Bosmer would be great as a Forest Mage/Ranger class;

Khajiit embraces a pairing of Two Moons Dance martial abilities, with the darkness of the Dro'math'ra (sp.?);

Argonian as a Shaman, creature-summoning powerhouse (with an ultimate summoning a Giant Wamasu).

Minor differences in racial abilities and a meager variety of viable endgame class builds gets stale with alternates for me.

Are you me? That was pretty much exactly my train of thought when planning my first character (and I started planning him when I first heard about ESO, long before launch).

Oh, I guess you're not me. I went DK because I wanted him to be a tough melee type (a front line legionnaire), and DK felt like it was the tankiest, most melee-oriented class.

It was a tough call for me between DK and Templar. I still wanted to be a front line legionnaire heavy armored knight, and looking back I should have probably gone that route. The reality is though I was going for the legionnaires theme which has Stendarr as its patron, and that screamed Temp to me. DK's on the other hand felt more Akaviri/Nord in nature, which looking back I suppose would work since a lot of Imperials are in fact part-Akaviri. I just wish they would have given more 'internal' tank options to the Restoring Light skills, and I really wish we had not lost Blinding Flashes. The changes since the game started have really not been beneficial to my build. In recent days, my Imperial Templar has abandoned his tanking ways in favor of a stamina dps flavor. Its not what I wanted but I think its the only way I'll still keep my warriors flair. I don't want to be a Healer-Tank who flails a mace or sword around for show.

Bosmer

My main pvp character and most payed of my characters is a Bosmer, but I have more Argonians in my 8 that any other race. So I am not sure which would be more relevant to this survey, maybe amend the OP to narrow the criteria?

Pretty much the same here, except I have a Dunmer instead of a Nord. If I accounted for racial changes I might switch from Imperial on 1-2 characters but even that is questionable.

Bosmer

I first created a Breton, but have since abandoned her in favor of a Bosmer.

The Khajit, Orc, Altmer and Argonians exist purely for bank space.

I must admit, I'd be more interested in the race / alliance makeup.
