In-Game Racial Demographics

A simple poll to determine how we're divided by race. According to UESP, Dunmer and Imperial are the two most populous races and I'm wondering how the playerbase matches up.

If you play multiple races, pick the one that you main on, or the one you most prefer lorewise, or the one you have the most of.

Basically, if you only had one character, what race would you be?

I paid for the Imperial version so I am going to use it every chance I get. Of the seven characters that I have, 4 are Imperial, 1 Breton, 1 Altmer and 1 Nord. All are DC.

The original Dunmer DK (mag) as main so i chose that,

But I've made 7 alts, so pretty much have every base covered including 7 of the 9 basic races covered

I would play Khajiit if there were more magic based, as I love their quirks and aesthetic.. but I am a Dunmer. I love the Elven kind and I had a Dark Elf back in Skyrim, so thought it only right to carry on that tradition.

I also LOVE fire.

You can only post ten options and there are ten playable races. If you use multiple then vote for the one you would most prefer playing with could you only have the one.

I've got a Breton, Dunmer, Khajiit and Imperial. Out of them all I think the Khajiit is the most interesting, they have some interesting animations compared to other races, obviously the tail is one of them, but when idle a Khajiit will also purr at times with an according facial animation.

My newest is Bosmer, but I also have a couple of Imperials, a Breton, Altmer and Nord. Imperials is the best looking race IMO, followed by Breton, but lately I've been loving my short Bosmer.

I pick Dunmer regardless of the racial stats. (Altmer stats would probably better on my main.) Just always played a dark elf.

I couldn't decide whether to vote with 1 of the 3 races that I normally play, so I just settled for the race I made first, but I don't even play him anymore.

I know polls limit you to 10 options, so you couldn't put in a "more than one" options or an "all of the above" option, but for me it's all of the above. 16 characters across 2 accounts representing all 10 playable races.

Always play Imperial for my main TES characters, no matter the racial bonuses. But I've others of course.

Characters I level weekly:

v14 Imperial DK - 100 lb soaking wet tank
v6 Breton Templar - Her name, 'I am an elf', is not lore friendly
38 Imperial NB - has a cool mustache that I may reuse in the future. WW, though his name is 'I am a vampire'

Dedicated crafters:

v1 High Elf Sorc - really just a crafter right now. His role is mostly just Prov writs and allowing my DK to not waste skill points on refining gear.
8 Kajiit Templar - I might eventually level her. Right now it is around level 7 and is my Provisioner. Seems lame that she can't do Writs in Craglorn. She would be my Stamplar. I mostly want to level so I can do PvP with a character named 'Provisioning Mulez'

I also have a Dunmer NB that is only lvl 9. I might make it a vamp and my magicka NB at some point, or I might create a new character with a different race. I have been waiting to see if they would adjust the fire resist to account for the 10x stat increase.

I also have another Breton (Sorc) and another Dunmer (Sorc), both of whom might get deleted due to redundancy (though the Dunmer is level 41 in Enchanting and the Breton is my main Alchemist) and replaced with a Stam Sorc and a Magicka DK, both of which I lack at present. I originally just created them as mules and I picked the Dunmer for cool face tatoos. I'm waiting for race changes to be offered before deleting the Dunmer. If they offer race change, I'll probably switch the Dunmer to an Imperial Sorc. Alchemy leveling is easy so I'll drop the Breton when I need a slot.

Overall, I am pretty firmly in the Imperial camp for any stamina build.
