^^ as the title says... but it makes it pretty difficult to Test these areas... never the less I've completed the "normal" Maelstrom Arena... Amazing

whatever...anyway its the only video on my stream I made just to illistrait the half damage.
I'm rolling with 3.7k spell damage rounded up and doing like 3k dps :P it's pretty pathetic...but I made it through. I guess u could also see the mechanics of the dungeon if you guys wanted to watch it. In order to pass this boss, you need to nuke him down before he starts one shotting you

Here is the guide for vet arena but it also works for normal.
And YES the dmg is too low compared to live.

Well its a fact you get more damage from specializing in your damage type first in CP, then penetration.
IE if ur using magic, stack thermatruge, if ur elemental stack that, if ur stamina weapon power based, go straight for the increase all physical damage champion point thingie.
Done lots of testing with the cp since it's cheap :P but yeah... after u got 100 in that, diversifying ur cp across the various damage increasing ones depending on ur damage type is the most effective and not stacking all into one because of diminishing returns is the most effective. Eh... as the damage is half that of live, and the enemies damage is "full" lol... I'll wait to do vet. as many of the boss encounters require you to burst them. and short of shield stacking and lucky breaks it's going to be very hard for everyone to get past it. Also the pet agro bug seems to be persisting. IE some mobs completely ignore pets all together...(like IC sweepers)650cp+ Sorcerer 100+ days /played

VoiDGhOs7✭✭✭✭Just finished the normal with v14 template and it was pretty easy except for some stages but as soon as you know what to do you wont have problems.
Tried the vet version and couldnt pass the boss in 1st stage so ill wait for dmg fix then try again but not sure if ill be able to get through vet version since the templates are pure crap.1 -

✭To continue the theme of last update's spike in enemy difficulty and gear/skill nerfs, it seems prudent to go "all in" and make this half-damage thing go live. Probably should increase enemy damage by 50% though, and prevent players from using soul gems to revive. Die, and start over. From the beginning of the arena. Enjoy.
