FYI it dropped during a normal run of the maelstrom arena. In vet mode it would probably been a VR16 drop.

Yes indeed. Look at the Maelstrom stamina weapons..... so special and strong effects.
Look at staves..... one even has a cooldown and let's not even talk about the destruction staves.

Yes, and it is perfectly acceptable and I am glad we have a few more options other than Kagrenac's.

BUT - come on! The Morkuldin set is a very nice set for a stamina build (same as Shield Breaker)... and that Maelstrom's Maul is just ridiculous.

EDIT: Not to mention that Trials set, should a tanky player choose to use it, will make it virtually impossible to kill them with a mana build!

As if 2 handed weapons wouldn't already deal too much damage sometimes in pvp with wrecking blow. Imagine that with an 8k+ (I'm sure it can also crit) dot over 5 seconds simply for using a gap closer..... I think this looks broken. It should be 50% less damage than it is right now

TBH, I think 1pc 189 spell dmg is pretty nice, even though the rest of the enchantment is trash. (It's not like the stamina versions don't have this though)

Personally I've already got the gears grinding in my head on what to do with all of this. With templates having all the gear I need for my main, and him being (almost) a master crafter, I can make everything I need to actually test my build and get an accurate number of the DPS I should be reaching.

Now I just gotta download the patch and start farming for things lol.

The bonus spell damage is fine, but the ~400 additional damage on basic attacks on affected targets, is +/- insulting compared to 14k free damage of the 2h.

Mmm the merciless crushing enchant on the 2hnder arena weapon is a typo? They added one too many numbers there. They meant 1400 dmg not 14000 right? Lmao people are going to be dropping dead from charges.
