So i did the rift with my guildies and i did a dungeon with them, but i cant really tell if i did bad or if dungeons are normally that hard, but in my opinion we died a lot.

Im a sorc healer, the tank was really good, but my only problem was the two dps kinda looked similar, so if i need to heal one, id end up running to the wrong healer...so it made things kinda hard, and if i didnt know where the other one was, id get confused, especially in mobs, if there are mobs id be kinda overwhelmed looking for who i need to heal.

What would you recommend to help me out?

I have only two medium armours and the rest of my gear is light armour, and i didnt put any points in light armour, only because im more focused on other skill points right now

But on my ability i have force siphon, healing ward, bleesing of restoration, healing spring, and dark exchange

When i ran out of magic potions i used stamina since dark exchange could also heal and restore magic...

Should i put mutagen in their?

My ultimate was great storm atronarch

Off hand was my dps skill set

So what would you recommend i change?

My guild told me i did good but i think they were being nice to be honest lol so idk how bad i did....

If I'm understanding what you said about light armor points, you definitely need to utilize the light armor skill passives.

How many skill points do you have? I'm asking because it would be a really good idea to get those light armor passives... Also be sure to heavy attack with your restoration staff, that is if you want another heal like mutagen on your bar in place of dark exchange. I would say the biggest thing would be to practice. Learn how fast each ability drains your resources in your build (being general as I don't know what sets if any you are using) and practice at being efficient. If you are looking into sets, something like the seduced set or the eyes of Mara are both crafted sets that can be quite effective. Try working on getting an instinctual knowledge of the range of spells so you won't have to search for teammates as much. Remember, if everyone is inside it's radius, healing springs is very effective. Try to keep it on at least two teammates...

The most important thing is to have fun. It was a first time run and you got through. best wishes on your next run and hang in there!

The Storm Atronach can provide a DPS boost (not just the atronach itself but the synergy grants a damage buff to the synergizer) as can Overload but the most supportive of the three ultimates is Negate. It will inflict a wide area stun on all targets, a great asset in clearing a room.

Your bar covers most of the basics but do not overlook Mutagen. That long term Heal over Time does more work than you think and at significantly less cost. As to which ability to swap for it... I cannot say. You will have to pick an ability you think you can do without.

Heavy attacking continuously will restore your Magicka in addition to your regeneration and potions - you may not need to use potions if you continuously heavy attack.

You did not mention a second bar, so I will assume you are below level 15. Why level 15? At 15 you unlock Weapon Swapping: the ability to equip two weapons and have two ability bars (one to each respective weapon). This will greatly open your options, allowing you to contribute to the DPS while healing if you choose to or to equip a second Restoration Staff and add those abilities you couldn't fit on your first bar or become an off-tank that can support the main tank in CC-ing and covering the party.

5 Light is recommended for Healers, but know that it is not necessary if the right equipment and abilities are combined. I used to heal in 7 Heavy armor before I switched to a melee focus at Veteran Rank 6.
If you yourself are having difficulty surviving, try swapping your 2 Medium armor items for Heavy armor.
