Healing is ridiculously broken in this game... Dots are never going to be viable in pvp because people can burst heal themselfs with almost spending any magicka (or stamina), the only way to kill people in the game is with huge burst dmg. I've been playing MMOs since 2003 and this is the first one with this healing mechanic...
I think the burst heal mechanic was intended for pve because almost every boss can 1 shot people at end game, but when it comes to pvp, Devs didnt knew how to balance it, so they just leave it like that...
Everquest, EQ2, World of Warcraft, DAOC, Warhammer Online, Anarchy Online etc etc down the list all had this. Exactly what MMOs were you playing? You realize the very essence of a healer in pvp is to do exactly what you are saying they shouldnt. There would be no point whatsoever to heal in pvp if that wasnt the case. If you want to take down a healer i suggest you use CC not raw damage. CC Kills healers not so much doing damage unless the healer is so poorly played they cannot survive a 1v1 fight. I am also going to point out to you the fact healers should be able to survive a 2v1 fight just healing sometimes 3v1. The point of that is the healer isnt doing any damage to you. Thus its a no harm no foul in your situation. If the healer cannot heal vs that many targets then there is no point in healing because most pvp fights are multi target. If you cannot heal that much or multi target then everyone will just die but the healer himself ( Pointless ).
Also yes healing took just as much a hit in the nerf as dps did. Read the Battle Spirit Tooltip.

I think the problem is heal stacking per unit time. Healing is ok with 1 person but group healing is to effective. I DO NOT think heals should be nerfed but rather the aoe heals should nerfed.
essentially if you have 3 templars all spamming breath in a group they are unkillable without cc... this should not happen.

I know, why would they? I'm agreeing that NBs where fine with the nerfs as it barely affected them and this update actually made them much more powerful since pretty much everyone's build has been tampered with and stood on except the amazing (cowardly) NB hidden cloak race.
