Nah but they will probably increase level cap again and make some sick new gear grinds.

Skill lines are content. This game isn't about content anymore.

It sounds like there are dark brother hood and thieves guild skill lines, and spell crafting of course. ^^

I actually hate to say it but Yolo is right. Most of the content that has been released post 1.6 has been "Grind-based" content. If you have seen the previews for spell crafting, it appears it will be just another huge grind fest.

By the devs reply when asked if Orsinium will increase the level cap to vr18, they hesitated a lot but said it wont go up on THAT update.

i do hope it's more than just two more skill lines because I would love to have many many more choices for example, there seems to be two missing elements from the sorcerors with very few skills, fire and ice based attacks we see on mobs but are not on sorcerers, and then there's a ton they could be doing with the hunter motif especially with bows that don't seem to be there but that's been a staple in multiple fantasy game for years now.

It's all just odd. It's like it's and incomplete picture if you look at the current skills and morphs put together.

Game is starting to really need more classes for diversity.

They have a ton of options, and new skills/skill lines would be great.
    • They could create more weapon lines like spear, unarmed, etc.
    • They could add ultimates to existing weapons skill lines.
    • They could increase the possible levels and add more skills to Vampire, Werewolf, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Soul Magic, etc.
    • They could add new world skill lines like Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Wyrd Magic, etc.
    • Before launch there was talk of adding a second level of branching morphs to skills. Even just a third morph option would be great.

I just don't know about new classes. If they want to encourage diversity it should be with skill lines that are available to everyone.

This, with a side of This, sprinkled with a dash of This, and served with a This spritzer. ^^^^

    o:)

Seriously, they already have animations for it. Give us an additional kick/elbow/knee animation and the work is done.

Hell, they could just add fist weapons to Dual Wielding and Spears to Two-Handed if they're worried about mechanical balance.

My Psijic-flavored toon REALLY needs to be able to kick some Daedra in the FACE.

The thing that kind of bothers me is that they were talking about doing this huge, ambitious addition to the game in the form of spellcrafting (which we haven't heard about in months and has possibly been abandoned), but something as basic as new skills or skill lines just haven't materialized.

Adding more skills, skill lines, and morphs requires actual design vision, good programming skills, tons of balancing, and a quick QA/recall system when one of those skills inevitably malfunctions and creates an exploit that insta-gibs people. Historically, fixes for game breaking PvP exploits take 2-3 months. I can see why they are hesitant to add new skills.

The other issue is the Power creep caused by the champion system. A min/maxed build either cranks the damage on a skill too high, or is able to spam that skill indefinitely due to the fact that anyone can get infinite resources fairly easily in this game - again thanks to the champ system and the removal of softcaps. What ever skill they add, people will just cry to nerf it the first time they die to it.

They need to remove the champ system from PvP before attempting any new skills or skill lines. But again, this all takes a ton of effort, skill, and quality control. ZOS would rather just create grinds. they are easier.

Is it still possible to release the warden class? If we're gonna have classes 4 is too few

You know I keep hearing about this power creep with Champion points but I'm just not seeing it really however what I am seeing is a power creep with Veteran levels and that's something that should be removed. If they limited champion points and removed veteran levels entirely this game would be fine.

That being said, They do need more skill lines and morphs. I agree with some three morphs per skill would totally and effectively open up a whole new set of choices for classes but even with those choices they would still be limited to the same skills, so Revcasy's list is actually the best list imo for what they could be doing to increase the diversity.

I'd love to see a second option for negative magics that are universal to all classes, and I'd love to see a frost/ice spell line, I'd also love to see a hunter-ish line of bow abilities something that addresses the missing well known bow skills that are not in this build such as multiple quick shots from a single skill use, bleeding shot, ricochet and skills that summon forest animals to aid the hunter even temporarily if not permanently when cast.
