Best magicka sorc gear sets lower vet levels

Alright so im currently VR 4 and curious on peoples thoughts about sets going forward. My sorc is built for high burst dps small scale, 1vX pvp. Im currently running 5 piece warlock and 5 piece seducers. Im looking for a bit more dps tho. Im thinking bout 4x Magnus, 3x Willows path and 3x Cyrodiils light. What sets would you use? Also what traits would you use?

a1x23✭✭✭Very good thought, if i were to use it i would probably run 2x kagrenac's and 2x engine gaurdian. But i like the spell power from mangus.0

✭✭Kagrenac is only worth it if you use the 5pcs bonus (it got a buff last patch and now provides 1.5 times the spell damage of a 2/3/4 pcs bonus in addition to the rez speed bonus). It works well even for V16. It does miss magicka regeneration, so you have to make up for that on your other set(s).
Cyrodiil's light, warlock, soulshine, archmage, among others, can be combined for jewellery. I personally would probably go for warlock jewellery and add in torug 3pc. While that does give you two health set bonuses, it allows you to take all points out from health and shift them to magicka.
Unless you disable battle leveling, most set bonuses won't apply anyways. At V4, I wouldn't invest too much gold.Edited by Leandor on September 29, 2015 9:10AM0 -

At V4 don't spend too much gold... but as you say, you're running full sustain at the mo and need some spell power.
5 piece Kagrenacs is excellent.....
And I'd agree, coupled with something like Warlock jewellery, and then 3 piece Torugs PAct... and move some health attributes over to Magicka.
Thats about the best setup I can think of at an easy/sensible price. It's got a mix of everything in there... magicka, regen & spell power.
At V5 then you could also consider 4 pieces of Syrabanes.... this has rings!!! And has spell damage, max magicka and mag recovery.

Kagrenac's is 8 traits right?
I ran 4 piece magnus, 2 seducer and 2 torug's from level 16 until I hit v14 yesterday. Upgraded it every 10 or so ranks, every 2 vet ranks.
Now running 4 piece martial knowledge, 2 piece adrointness.
I never had any points into health ro remove ro accommodate other sets.
You don't need health. Conjured ward is your health.0 -
