Just one question.
Why, ZOS, why?! Why did you made incredibly hard dungeons like CoA, WGT and ICP as gold daily? I can bet, that at least 90% of playerbase will never be able to do it on vet difficulty, no matter on what scale. Even very good players with 15-20k dps and voice communication have problems with this, so why do you think pug groups will be able to do it?
I really like this game, but impossible complexity of vet content is killing me...

✭✭Maybe they want us to understand the game mechanics insdead of blindly focussing on our dps?
You might not be able to do the hard mode, but it is defenitivly possible to complete those dungeons without voice chat and 15k dps if you understand the boss behavior.1 -

The fact there is content which requires more than rolling your face on a keyboard/controller in this game is a good thing. As for it being part of the quest cycle for gold keys, it's better than the 10min Wayrest completions which are braindead and boring.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

I do untestand boss mechanic, i'm not dying like a fool in lava, i'm dodge rolling one shoot kill spells and so one, but I cant do more then 5-8k dps, same as 90% of casual gamers in this game. Thats the problem.1 -

I'm in 2 PvE guilds at the moment, quite big ones. But almost all my daily runs is pugged, because ppl just doing it in small core groups and dont want to waste time with noobs like me in hard pledges like CoA or IC ones.0 -

Due to boss mechanisms.
Language barriers in Europe without other means to communicate prevents many PUGs to work effectively.
Ofc most of those who speak no english, or other common language, still write and read it, more easily, or at least they dont need to struggle with different english accents.
Once coms are established, these dungeons can be done.

On a more serious note, I can understand the frustration of the lesser experienced players. With PUG groups, doing the new dungeons in Veteran mode is really hard. But it's not the end of the world if you cant complete the daily every day, right? There are plenty of other quests. I mean if Sanctum Ophidia is weekly, you probably also wont get the reward, right?Jeckll has quit the game. Thanks for the great time.1 -

You don't understand my point. In most cases tactic and mechanic isn't a problem. But lack of dps or heal is, like on last boss in CoA, where we have pure dps race.
For example, yesterday I did Banished on vr16. All was good, we didnt wiped at once, no one died, but we fighted with last boss for 12 minutes!0 -

lol 5-8k dps is no were near enough for dungeon completion, that is the dps healers and tanks usually have in boss fights such as the ones in vCoA.
I really agree with you, they should make the dungeon completion more obtainable for the regular players who don't have access to endgame builds. I normally helped low levels and low level veterans through many dungeons, I simply can't be bothered with it anymore, because it has become too hard for me as a healer to do that. I will need at least 2 experienced good players by my side, before I even think of helping out a v1 with a vet dungeon, and all the experienced good players are too busy trying to fix their builds at the moment
One of the groups I did vCoA hardmode pledge with, had so bad dps - experienced good players with nerfed old builds though, so the endboss was at 40% health at the third platform. - we didn't wipe, because I was spamming heals left and right when the third platform was destroyed, but it was very unpleasant. I died 2 seconds before boss died.
Worse is that we have White Gold Tower and Imperial Prison as pledges, which in my opinion is morely wrong, since the players who bought the game but not the DLC, does not have access to. They payed for playing the vanilla version of the game and get quests they can not complete without having to buy the DLC.
- beside that, they're harder than any other dungeons, even on normal mode.0
