I dont know why all you people are saying this would make it P2W when it clearly would not. You're not paying to win anything, this doesnt make your character stronger than anyone else's. It doesnt provide you with an advantage over anyone else in PvP or PvE. The only thing it would do is provide those loyal to the game a reward for their loyalty.
Pay to Win: Is where you can purchase a competitive advantage over someone else through a microtransaction (or even not so micro) and a similar advantage could not be got with a reasonable amount of time, effort, and/or skill otherwise.
This does not provide you with a competitive advantage.
In fact, if it takes you as an equal opportunity player this long to get into the campaign, how much longer would non-subscribers take? Ergo, DLC is worthless for non-subscribers and sales drop drastically because the game is no longer pay what you want but "give us all your money".I've made it inside my factions main campaign twice, both times after 6+ hours of waiting. I dont have this kind of time to wait and I bet there are plenty more just like me, therefore wasted money on this DLC. I guess since people have twisted ideas of P2W I should be punished for being a loyal customer who has spent well over $500 on this game in the 3 months its been out on console. Guess I'll just ask for a refund on this DLC since I cant access he campaign that I find fun.

Strange how you don't consider access to the campaign at all a competitive advantage over being unable to grind for points and gear or assist your faction in winning because you're stuck in a two hour non-subscriber queue, especially now that IC has launched and queue times have multiplied.
Pay money for a DLC that you can't reasonably use unless you pay more money. Sensible.

You can grind for anything that drops in IC outside of IC. Vet Dungeons drop the game gear sets that you can get inside IC and provde the same points you can get inside IC. Again its not P2W.

Oh my mistake, could you direct me to which dungeon allows you to grind for Alliance Points?
Or heck, capture a keep? Or engage in PVP at all? Since defeating your opponents in battle is very definition of winning, you kind of need access to opponents to battle.
If it's possible for a player to never get inside Cyrodiil at all, the problem isn't priority queueing, it's the population cap across all campaigns.
Cyrodil has a population limit... Even if it is populated with 100% eso+ members eventually ESO+ members will wait in queue also and non-eso+ members will never get in.

I know in Battlefield 4 that premium members get the jump on queues, that works well. There really should be a queue advantage if you are investing $10 per month into the franchise

You just said points, how was I supposed to know you mean AP? Also last I checked AP gear is out dated and TV gear is worst than PvE gear that drops in Vet dungeons. So why are you farming for AP at all or TV for junk PvP gear?

I'm going to quit my subscription if ESO keeps discriminating like this between paying members and non-paying ones (that "ONLY" had to buy the game already).
I know the guys need money to develop this game, and that is the 1st reason why I even have a membership (I never even went to IC yet, and the crown store items kinda suck). But this discrimination is terrible, if we keep it up next thing you know paying member deal 2x damage. What the hell?
MOTIVATE people to support you, don't FORCE them. You could do like indie games and have a poll for roadmap features, and ask people to donate to get features implemented faster. That's the most civilised money-raising way there is.
Now that I'm totally okay with. I didn't even buy IC, I have access through my ESO Plus, so having people ahead because they actually bought the DLC would be fair as there are both subscribers and non-subscribers in that mix.myrrrorb14_ESO wrote: »Upon reflection I wish I had voted other. They are already getting the income from subs without providing much benefit. They need to entice people to spend more money. Buy the DLC and you will get priority access would sell big.
