2. Group finder sucks. We've complained about it for the better part of a year now.
3. If you're optimized for healing, you're not going to have elite DPS to SOLO GROUP CONTENT.
4. If you're trying to burst heal through everything, you're doing it wrong. But your groups are almost always doing it wrong as well. You can't be expected to simply heal through every attack. They're going to have to learn positioning and you're going to have to have HoT's running pretty constantly.
5. That doesn't really prevent you from being able to switch, and you are already magicka stacked if you are a healer. You really just need to get DPS gear and reoptimize your CP distribution.
6. Can't help you there. Everyone always blames the healer.
7. Redistribution (one of the IC crafted set) is now my go to set for healing. Combat mage is even better, but it's a drop farm.
1. Need 8 traits researched for the Kagreanc's Hope:
Annoying, have to join a guild or find a friend.
2. Almost impossible to find a Vet. 16 group using the group finder que. No text chat, to let everyone know in area chat that I am a healer.
Healers are usually in massive demand. Group finder is ***. Join an active PvE guild or wait by the undaunted camp asking for a group
3. Cannot solo IC mobs for crap as a healer build due to Radiant Destruction nerf.
You shouldn't be using Radiant Destruction to kill monsters in the first place. Puncturing Sweeps is enough to completely sustain yourself with healing whilst doing good damage.
4. Healers always targeted first and usually die first in IC due not being able to burst heal through dps because of the Breath of Life healing nerf.
Blazing Spear. Use channeled focus, it gives resistance AND increases healing inside of it by 30% or whatever.
5. Cannot switch to a DPS or tank role in end game, due to everyone believing Templars are only good as healers.
Magicka Templars have amazing DPS and Stamina Templars are definitely the best DPS in the whole game. Look up a build.
6. No DPS meters on consoles or gear checks, so healers almost always get the blame or get yelled at for the group dying.
If people are dying and they're not standing in the red, it's probably your fault. If they are in the red, it's probably theirs.
7. No good healer Imperial City Telvar Stone sets.
There are a few good sets, but you have to farm them from new dungeons
8. Being out healed by PC transfers due to champion points, 8 traits researched for the Kagreanc's Hope set, and a one year head start.
I've never come across a PC transfer healer. When you're looking for a group, you can't tell that someone is a PC healer with 500 champion points and amazing gear, you just see a templar and think "oh, that guy might be a healer".

What server and faction? One of my annoying PC transfer Ravens can do that set for you and I am sure he can strike a good deal
2. Almost impossible to find a Vet. 16 group using the group finder que. No text chat, to let everyone know in area chat that I am a healer.
Guilds are the best way to go but you can also have great success using area chat near the undaunted quest pick ups in wayrest
3. Cannot solo IC mobs for crap as a healer build due to Radiant Destruction nerf.
You need to change some of your skills and you can easily solo groups of mobs in IC; open on the group with Reflective Light, then throw a Blazing Spear, and depending on your other skills you can drop an Entrophy on a couple if you wish, the close the gap and smash them all with Punching Sweeps - that will heal you and hurt them SPAM IT and drop a Breath here and there - Watch you mana though
4. Healers always targeted first and usually die first in IC due not being able to burst heal through dps because of the Breath of Life healing nerf.
There is a massive reliance on Breath of Life and yes it is great I use it on my PVP and PVE builds for my Magicka Temp but you need to look at other things as well, how can you shut down the enemy attacking you? Of course being in a group helps as well to call a focus target, but I think there is some build optimisation that you need to carry out. You wont find a build that will always work but if you keep your ear to the ground on what the "meta" is for the other classes -which pretty much 90% of the players will run, then you can work out your counters -revisit the skills tree and look into each skill, understand what they do and how certain ones could work against certain classes that you know are going to do certain skills 99% of the time, eg like the bloody fear spamming NBs LOL
6. Cannot switch to a DPS or tank role in end game, due to everyone believing Templars are only good as healers.
You absolutely can and pre IC I have both healed and dps'ed trials in both hybrid and specific builds - This makes me think you need to find that community that just gets a group going and if you can dps you dps. Although I can see how in the PUG world the templar would not be seen as a first choice dpser
7. No DPS meters on consoles or gear checks, so healers almost always get the blame or get yelled at for the group dying.
This can be a hard one and I am again leading towards this coming from bad experiences in PUGs where ppl can be very quick to blast others sometimes when the simple fact is the group just wont beat the mechanic in general, take whatever that boss is where someone gets pinned, some groups just do not have the dps and will always lose a member to the sword (which I think can be negated???) again though the PUG group might not know other strategies. For me if I pugged I would take control of the group and make the call outs on priorities and strat as well as call incoming damage (red circles), there are some damage mechanics that NO healer can heal through so ask the person what killed them? I bet it will be the 40k red circle they didn't move out of.
8. No good healer Imperial City Telvar Stone sets.
I haven't had a good look into this yet stone wise but just use them to get costumes, you want to farm trophys!
9. Being out healed by PC transfers due to champion points, 8 traits researched for the Kagreanc's Hope set, and a one year head start.
I PC transferred so yea there are some additional CP's there but not many in my case not many at all. As for my temp, I started him fresh and I dont do any crafting but people in the guild do (I understand if you like to solo it), communities in good guilds will help you with builds, gear, farming and teamwork. You can complete all the games content with an organised group who each have bugger all CPs
