I was so glad to get 30 cps to get the spell crit so I could drop magelight and run entropy.

Space is far too precious on bars, especially as a sorc. I keep overload mainly for even more space.

I use entropy and magelight atm on my magika templar, would it not be worth keeping magelight with the spell crit CP bonus to get a higher crit rating?

Spell Precision passive gives 12% spell crit for spending 30 points in the Apprentice tree.
Spending 0-100 points in Elfborn increases crit damage/healing by 0-25%.

So you wont get higher spell crit by spending points in Elfborn but your crits will hit harder.

i moaned about this months ago -->LINK HERE<-- (back in june) and i fully agree, bound armaments is part of my stam sorc build and makes me feel terrible not being able to enjoy my customized look only because a toggle hides my entire armor, it gets annoying to look at, because it looks less appealing then the look i spent weeks customizing :(

I don't see how an extra 3300~ magica is worth a slot on both bars. That's all your getting. 2 spells.

No need to get so defensive.

I'm just saying, you could be using your bar for much better things.

    lmao

    Let's see:
    - 8% Magicka
    - Additional Armor/Spell Resist
    - Health/Stam Regen if we don't have any other Daedric Summoning ability slotted
    - Additional Spell Damage

Yep, totally don't see how it might be worth having this skill slotted. /sarcasm

Not as a slot on both bars. I'm going to struggle to replace something when I get magica detenation. My crit is at 40% in combat so would Rather have extra abilities to use

    The armor/spell resist is small.

Why wouldn't you use hardened ward??

Additional spell damage but two less abilities.

Plus bastion CP won't work on it as it's mitigation and not a shield.

For survivability, hardened ward is better.

The only benefit is the max magica. You can get your spell damage high enough. 8% magica is not worth two slots

For PVP yes, there are much better choice and you are already short on skills

For PVE you need it if you want to maximize your damage

Back on topic, the skin is like the paperclip on windows back in time, no one liked it, but it was always there :(

I also agree, if they can have the option for us to hide mount upgrades, they need the option to hide sorc bound armor, I mean first off the color on them is bad, second I happen to enjoy looking at my scales, I'm an argonian, and I purposefully make my robes of the primal variety to see my buff scales, and with the bound agis their gone, it's quite sad.

Why go for daedric armor rather than inner light? 10% crit seems to be way better than the additional 3% magicka you get...

Inner light gives 5% max magicka and 10% spell crit + 2% max magicka and 2% magicka regen from mages guild passives.

Bound armor gives 8% max magicka and minor armor/spell resist + 2% spell dmg from sorc passives.

The choice is between 10% spell crit + 2% magicka regen OR 1% max magicka + 2% spell crit + minor armor/spell resist

For damage Inner Light is a lot better.
For defense Bound armor is a little bit better.

For tanking with Surge using both at the same time is a god send, because you can sometimes get your crit to nearly 75%, and just beat up things to heal, it's actually how I've been sorc tanking, that and hardened ward/lightening form. I just sit there and let form crit while using surge and splash, you can almost stand there and just get heals, then toss in a crystal frags for good measure.
