The content, gameplay, sets, balance passes were great. I have a lot of fun playing the content however it has some issues which need some love.

The damage/healing nerf needs some tweaking, as we've gone from one shot builds to healer stacking in numbers being almost impossible to break.

Additionally Cyrodiil combat seems pointless/worthless causing it to empty out, the issue is only made worse by factions once again claiming "buff campaigns" and not playing on campaigns where PvP would actually happen.

Closing a couple of the campaigns and bringing Thornblade back to 30 days (keeps should be long battle campaigns) might help get people actually fighting for IC rather than farming.

Actually 'buff" campaigns don't exist anymore, a faction can 'own' a campaign but it holds no worth as previously they did it to get all the stat buffs which used to apply even outside cyrodlil.

Now they mean nothing essentially, so they get no bonuses from having a 'buff" server.

All that actually does is give a certain faction more of a safe home to go do IC , as they are far less likely to encounter enemy players.

We (DC) took a group of 5 into Thornblade the other day, purely because it's owned by reds, and funnily enough had very few logged on, we went right past everything and entered ic. Had the place to ourselves.

Nothing about loading times :( But I like the armor set fix, no more unkillable's running around with 0 health due to a broken set.

Almost 2 years and no LFG working tool.
No loot scaling making 90% of the game pointless.

Anyway, this game dies the 11/11/2015.

A high percent of the players (definitely over 90%) don't even read the forums, so this poll won't prove anything tbh.

I think some midway options would be nice.

They didnt totally destroy the game, so happy-ish.

The nerf hammer was swung pretty hard, so unhappy-ish.

    Making the grind more grindy...

Guess I have more negatives than positives. But I weight the still able to play pretty high. Some of the previous updates made me wonder if there would be a game left to play.

IC is the most fun I've had in an MMO in a long time.

My main complaint is the BoP sets from the new dungeons. The current drop rate all but guarantees you won't see a 5-set of anything unless you grind each dungeon 10 times a day for months.

The balancing and what not is typical mmo stuff and I'm ok with it... Didn't like it, didn't hate it, was just meh...

The one I can't stand and part of reason I haven't logged in for a week, the lag, loading screens unlimited, and just general lack ok support for the console launch of IC...

Many of these problems existed from the PC launch 2 weeks prior and caused a major uproar with them and low and behold, the exact same issues released on the console with no mention of a fix in progress or anything. It's always a good thing for business to release content you pay for that breaks the game... Awesomeness to say the least...

Good and bad, but more bad imo.

Love IC, good mix of PvP and PvE, no issues with IC.

All the nerfs though...WHY? I am now the only one of my friends playing this...the others all left. Boring without them, so I am starting to fall off a bit myself.

Pretty much this..."All the nerfs though...WHY?" I think the term is excessive nerfing. I think the questions is does it really make a game better? Has it made the game better in the past? Does it feel like it's being done just because it's an easy thing to do?

    And this...

Assuming we're talking about the IC update rather than this week's patch, I'm with the missing option "not relevant to me" as I have no interest in PvP and won't be bothering with PvE content that is locked behind PvP. In any event, as I'm still levelling characters to 50 I can't take on extra content without making my characters more over-leveled for the main content than they are already.

Really happy there is finally a campaign using the keep control mechanic that IC was actually designed for.

I don't care for PvP and feel that this update not only catered solely to PvP players (which is fine), but catered specifically to the worst type of PvP players.

But I can't even complain about that. The DLC is optional (sort of, assuming you don't mind the limitations to getting V16 gear if you avoid PvP entirely), and I don't have to partake if I don't want to. So that alone is not why this update bothers me.

Along with this update, we got a 3x to 4x increase to the already-longer-than-they-should-be loading screens, which is unacceptable, and still hasn't been fixed since the update.

We also got a completely unnecessary change to the way the achievement collectibles work, which greatly increased the difficulty of an already annoying system, to the point of making it virtually impossible to complete for certain characters ([thread 1] [thread 2]).

So between added content that is useless to my playstyle, unchecked bugs that greatly affect my gameplay, and a change to a system that did nothing but make that system worse, this update was a major let-down to me.

Imperial City DLC / Patch, Things I liked
    1. All Vet Dungeons scale now - if you are going to increase level cap - cool, but why did you? (more later)
    2. All vet drops have up to a VR16 drop set including monster undaunted items (kewl - if you were going to increase level cap)
    3. Fixed a lot of bugs and that annoying log-in error syntax message
    4. The *idea* of new crafting sets, I was all for... that was a win... but, HOW ZoS implemented them (below)
    5. Imperial City game space, glad its there - I doubt I'll use it, but its cool that there are quests, vendors and added PvP space there for those who enjoy that kind of content

IC / DLC - Thinks I did NOT like
    1. They infringed upon end game investment - a big no-no in my opinon... must be careful with these kinds of steps (see Destiny's year one folly's). If you were at VR14 and were finding end game set items... it's been a long road to get there. All junk now since VR16 is out, right? That's a problem. ZoS increased VR levels (which I thought they were not going to do as VR was a problem to be sorted, right?) Anyway, doing so means one must go out and find all new end game gear for Undaunted monster sets, and the alike - again... that's kind of a huge pain in the arse. It says to players who were vested and achieved pinnacle stature that - we just busted you back, please try again. You can only have that happen to you so many times before you say, enough's enough - I'm done. Players in a game like this want to have a feeling of accomplishment and investment. You want to have a sense of immersion by your accomplishements... gear needs to transcend levels and when you hit the cap, the gear needs to be capped with you. If I have the final set of whatever item type, my immersion and investment in that that dungeon for that piece for this toon - is done! I earned it. I have accomplished something worthy of showing off and using in other content. It's how I progress... but, if ZoS keeps increasing the level cap, then players have less incentive to keep going through end game, as the next cap increase is around the corner and that helm/shoulder set you earned is a couple months from being outdated again... bleh... who wants that? It's not worth time and effort of a rare RNG drop, if its just going to be obsolete again... nobody is going to keep grinding that dungeon over and over. That reward, when finally earned, needs to last. Otherwise, you are asking players to join your never ending gear grind cycle any time you want to increase level cap... and that's not fun at all. Gotta find a way around that. Simple solution - auto upgrade any VR14 gear to VR16 when/if you add levels - or something equivilent... keep folks investment relevant - don't sacrifice it.

    2. Where's my health bar on console? I have no idea when my food expires now... aargh...

    3. The two armor crafting sets were a huge miss. Whoever thought of that was simply not considering risk / reward and completely missed the memo from the FUN DEPARTMENT. It's a mess to seek, assemble and a chore to collect shards and crafting a set is an abysmal time suck... they can keep it.

    4. The Reset to the skills was not communicated well IN GAME to the players. A notice a message a world in game mass message is all it would have taken

    5. IF you were going to reset skills, then they should have offered you some way IN GAME to show you what you had previously set for each character's skills, like having each skill highlighted another color - or something... and having your bars greyed out or something with previous choices... for those of us with multiple characters and over 200 skill points to spend per character, it was a mess to go in and select everything again.

    6. So much changed on this update, they needed to also offer attributes respec... only offering skills and not attributes was a miss.

    7. The general power factor or damage ability of low / mid level VR toons vs. PvE and same mobs they used to be able to do hold their own against has went way down... that's a problem. No update should make you feel lessor in areas where you were feeling like you could hold your own. There's more than one case where folks have posted saying, I used to be able to do X pre IC update, now, I can't hold my own, or I had to change build significantly, farm new whatever, change gear... etc, just to get back to where I was... Sure we can adapt, but that seems like a miss - you don't punish players and remove investment or power or progress with an update... that's bad business.

    8. Guild stores and Guild banks are a mess now...

    9. Cannot add items to stacks in inventory, when inventory is full (used to be able to keep building existing stacks - from hides, plants, ores, woods, etc - even if inventory was full say 150/150). Now, have to leave inventory at 149/150 to keep building existing stacks... a bug or feature?

    10. Imperial City has made the queue to get to Cyrodil ridiculous... I wish Imperial city was just put on different servers and had its own queue... I just want to go to Imperial City so I can do dailies, shard hunt or run some dungeons there with friends... however, getting into Cyrodil now (not IC) is a mess... Sunday I waited in queue for over 4 hours from position over 300 while I did other stuff... but the time the que freed up, I went in... but couldn't even stay in very long... had to log off and couldn't get what I wanted done in Cyrodil. My friends had already logged off... just a mess of how they have the systems shared.

At this point, Folks at ZoS need to circle the wagons. ESO is a great world, but they have some terrible long grind mechanics and are missing some key elements to making this world and game great. They need some guiding principles and vision to make sure they do not derail the car soon... This is a game... *FUN* first. This has to be paramount. Say No to GRIND has to be second... there's just way to much of it at present, and the new armors and Tel Var stones and the alike just scream grind.... stop! Players will join your world and play for hours... which I get is what you are after, but FORCING it by way of god aweful mechanics is a bad idea. Put in great content, that is FUN, and you will have NO problems keeping folks interested... Finally, you can't take away from what players that are in and love your world have earned... you can't escalate someone to power, then pull the rug out from under them... you can't let a player be able to hold their own in a space... or achieve end game rewards... then rework the system and make them feel lessor... or make all their end game gear obsolete... its bad... it means you just sent everyone back the drawing board and added (more grind) to get the next version of the same thing... you must reward existing players and their gear if you are going to do this - someone needs to print and hang giant banners above the developers desks...

Fun First and Foremost = GOOD
    Lasting Investment = GOOD
    Immersion = GOOD
    Grind = BAD
Taking away from players = NEVER AGAIN
