I can't believe people are so thin skinned that watching one video game character squat down, stand up over another video game character warrants a 3 page forum rant

I can't believe there are so thick headed people who bother posting such useless comments.
You know very well that there's more to T-bagging than just "a few pixels of crouch/uncrouch".
So far this thread (which I haven't started, by the way..) has been constructive and there's been a fair, clean and interesting exchange of divergent points of view on the subject, don't start ruining it.

Am I the only one that does not get offended by T-Bags or someone calling me a fangirl/fanboy?
When i play PvP I take the game serious, I want to destroy all the ADs and EPs. They are my enemy and i really don't care how they feel if I T-Bag them.
I do remember a moment, where someone from AD was pounding on me, and lucky me one of my alliance members saved me, and we ended up killing him. I walked over and gave the dead AD a T-Bag and then sat in a chair next to him. Oops, Big mistake! His buddy was hiding behind me with a big Axe. In the end, I was the one laying on the ground dead, being T-Bagged.
Enjoy the game don't worry about little things like T-Bagging!
ESO please do not nerf T-Bagging.
If you're female as your name suggests then the preferred term for it is flap slap or clam slam depending on what part of the world you're in . I've tbagged and been tbagged in pvp for years now it's just a giggle but usually it's reserved for rivals or friends. In eso I use guffaw emote or facepalm for fail gankers. They deserve a nutdip anyway
vamp_emily wrote: »Well for the record, I was good this weekend. For the respect of other players, I did not flap slap/ tea bag anyone. Even though I really really really wanted to tea bag EPs Emp.
Instead, I danced and prayed over the dead. Please tell me this is ok.
anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »Damn. Didn't think tea bagging was such srs bsns. I reserve my tea baggings to my friends who die in PvE, who usually burst in laughter in TeamSpeak when they notice it. I don't mind if someone tea bags me in PvP. I think of it more as an expression of: "Hey! I beat you!" than "omg lol u suck wtf noob". Not much different than the game telling me: "You died."
That said, in my opinion, good fights should end in /salute, /shovel or /bow or the kind, rather than tea bagging, but come on guys. If seeing another players character sneak and un-sneak above your characters corpse is too much to handle, maybe you're the one with a problem.
P.S. Mind posting the part about tea bagging in CoC? I'm seriously interested.
- NO, I won't bother looking in the CoC. But what I know for sure is that some people received warnings about teabagging from ZOS. Those were posted here as screenshots by the people who received them. Unfortunately the thread was deleted since it's not allowed to discuss disciplinary measures on the forum.
- I'm really tired of explaining over and over again that just because something is OK for you it doesn't have to be OK for everyone else, and you know just as well as I do that 95% of teabagging isn't meant to be nice, it's meant to be humiliating. Even if it is not always meant that way, there's no shame in adapting one's own behaviour in order to respect other people's sentivity, even if it differs from one's own.
- You also know very well that teabagging is not a simple combination of "crouch/uncrouch", it's meant to mean "I r a p e you to humiliate you just in case being killed by me is not enough an humiliation. I just want to make sure you feel really bad". And it works : nobody posts on the forum saying "he shoveled me for all the wrong reasons... "
Now I'm not stupid either, I understand that among PvPers it's part of a "code" and it's not meant to be taken that literally and it can mean plenty of things, some of those things being quite nice or just gently teasing. However, there are a lot of non-dedicated PvPers who currently join the fun of IC and they don't know this "code".
Let me just tell you what happened 2 nights ago with one of my guildies (and she's a 30sthg grown up woman, teacher IRL, so not a kid and not some kind of oversensitive fragile soul). She went to IC with us, we were a small group. Unfortunately she was cornered in a 1v1 fight and we were too busy with mobs to come to her rescue on time. Against all odds, she won that fight and it happened that her opponent had 1K+ Tel Var stones, so she inherited all those stones. Few seconds later she received a ton of insults per whisp from this opponent.
Now she refuses to join any kind of PvP again, no matter how much we insist nor how much fun she actually had there. She simply says "I'm not playing this game to get insulted, nor to hurt people so deeply that they might react this way." (And don't tell me nor her that "she should... whatever" because she won't. She was deeply shocked by the violence of the opponent's reaction).
There's no teabagging involved in this anecdote but it shows the real cultural gap between PvPers and PVEers. I believe that bringing both populations together is good thing for everyone, but for it to be successful I think PvPers should adapt a bit and drop some of their most agressive practices, among others teabagging.
Wait so let me get this right:
People are pissed because... someone kills them and then crouches/uncrouches on their body... To me this has no meaning but they view this as said "teabagging" and because of this they get annoyed? Thats like saying u feel that pole dancing is slutty and because of this the whole world shouldnt pole dance...
Someone is crouching and uncrouching on ur body thats it. Dont think about it as tea bagging. Problem solved. I mean what other solution is there? Start banning everyone who does it? Try to change people who do it? Neither of those options i think are gona work...
Edited for clarity

Actually, it HAS worked as I have not seen the one that I reported twice (and I know of three others who reported him) in well over a week and I PVP daily and have been fighting the same group of people almost every time. So, either he has been taught a lesson or he's gone.

- Expressing one's opinion in any place doesn't mean you try to change the world or change people, it just means expressing oneself and some listeners/readers might be interested in a different point of view and maybe freely change their own behaviour, who knows ?
- I don't see any point of comparison between poledancing and teabagging. Poledancing is meant to be pleasant for the eyes and to trigger some hormones, but nothing about it is meant to be offensive.
- Of course denying the very meaning of teabagging and intellectually pretend the character/player is just doing his morning gym without any offensive intention is a wise and clever trick, but it is nonetheless just a trick and does not change the initial meaning of teabagging and the offensive intention behind it.

To me personally though, it doesn't make sense to want to simulate that kind of act right after you kill someone or your buddies kill someone. You got the kill, good for you? You don't really realize how far your head is up your own bum if you can't be objective about what you're doing, and the argument that it isn't really t-bagging is just silly, how can you expect anyone to take that opinion seriously. If you do it, with the exception of the poor person who legit didn't know what it was, you know what you're doing, don't lie ;D If one's ego is in that need of a tug, that they have to simulate behavior likened to monkeys in heat, when they do something productive in PVP, then I guess let them wear themselves out, let them, be the better person, even if its someone else's salt flavoring your mouth
